Today was the Yule ball and Fred was waiting for you outside the Hufflepuff common room
And he was getting worried because you were taking awhile
But then Harry walks out because he went in to get you
"Sorry, my sister is slow," Harry says and Fred nods
"It's fine I'm used to it with ginny so doesn't even matter to me," Fred says as you walk out and his mouth drops immediately because you looked so beautiful in your dress "Damm," Fred says and you laugh as Harry rolls his eyes
"Thanks," you say winking at Fred who's face was as red as his ginger hair
"Ok let's go." Harry says and you nod
"Sure." You say as Fred sneakily tried to grab your hand and you just grab it and hold it

You were talking to people
"What on earth even is Yule? Like is that made up? Someone asks and you immediately start explaining
"No it isn't, Yule is a pagan holiday celebrating the winter solstice, my grandma on my moms side is pagan." You say and Fred smiles as he kept asking questions as some people looked shocked
"So like what a solstice?" Fred says and you laugh he was so adorable and dumb it was so cute
You then answer a lot of Fred's questions as George and his date walks over
"You know I'm glad Fred finally asked you out y/n, him drooling over you was getting kinda annoying." George says and Fred glares at his twin as you laugh
"So that's why you drooled, I thought you just couldn't control your saliva." You say and Fred chuckles nervously
"Only around you." Fred says winking at you and you laugh and Fred smiles as you laugh, he loved knowing he made you laugh *I am shocked y/n potter agreed to go out with me, but I won't mess it up like I like her so much and for so long, I hope her dad is fine with us together, never met her mother but hopefully I can meet her*
