Chapter 9

This chapter is kinda shorter and more boring but I promise there's a twist at the end!

Jake's POV: 

"You can stay at my house if you want to" Jay said

 'Are you sure? Wouldn't that bother you?" Jake asked

 "Nah it's good, it gets lonely sometimes living alone" Jay said

 "Okay thanks" Jake said

 "No problem anything for you" Jay said

 "Hey maybe we can even start looking for a job for you" Jay said

 "Woah really? A job?" Jake asked

 'Dude why do you see so surprised?"

 "Nothing it's just I've always wanted to have a job, you know before I died I was suppose to start my first ever job right?" Jake said

 "Well news flash, a job sucks" Jay says

 'Hey it can't be as bad as school can it?" Jake asked

 'Well depends on what you do for a living" Jay shrugged

 "Great! I'll start looking for a job soon" Jake exclaimed

 Jay just laughed as he went to get ready.

Jake was walking through the city to see what he had missed. When suddenly the same stabbing pain that he had experienced in the morning happened again. Jake groaned as he stumbled into an alleyway so people didn't notice him. Then his vision went black. Another flashback happened, this time he was in a bathroom stall crying. Jake could hear himself sobbing but he didn't know why. Suddenly the stabbing pain went away and he was left alone in the alleyway once again. Jake thought that all of this couldn't have been a coincidence could it? How could it have happened two times within a span of a few hours. Suddenly Jake heard familiar laughter. Jake turned around and saw Hyewun.

 "Hyewun!" Jake exclaimed

 Hyewun looked up. Hyewun quickly waved at him before dragging the others with her. 

"Is this the dead ghost boy you told us about?" Ni-ki asked

 Jake looked at Ni-ki. 

"He's not a dead ghost boy, at least not anymore" Hyewun said

 'My bad my bad"

 "So what are you doing here?" Hyewun asked

 "I'm looking for a job!" Jake said

 "Already?" Hyewun asked

 "Yea I get bored at home" Jake said

 "I'm thinking of just starting off in a cafe" Jake said

 "I work at a cafe, and trust me it's not as easy as it looks" Jungwon said

 "Let a guy dream" Sunoo said

 "But hey we're actually hiring would you be interested?' Jungwon asked

 Jake nodded.

So that's how Jake ended up in front of a busy cafe. Jake opened the door and nervously walked in. 

"Hi I heard you were taking job application?" Jake asked as he approached the lady at the front counter

 "Yes! We're more than happy to interview you!" the lady said

 Jake was lead to a back room where he was instructed to wait for the boss. Jake sat there fidgeting with his fingers when he heard the door creak open. 

"Hi, you must be Jaeyun?" A familiar voice said

 Jake cleared his throat. "Yes but you can call me Jake" Jake said

 He heard a little mhm. As the man sat down in front of the desk, Jake noticed the man looked familiar. The man seemed to notice Jake too cause his eyes widened.

 "Jake no way is that you". "Heeseung?"

 Jake looked up.

 "I can't believe you're sitting right here, I must be dreaming" Heeseung gasped

 Jake laughed as he shook his head. 

"No silly, I'm right here". Heeseung quickly engulfed Jake in a huge hug

 "So you wanted to come here for a job interview?" Heeseung asked

 Jake nodded. 

"Just fill out a few questions and then you can start tomorrow!" Heeseung said

 'Already?" Jake asked

 "I'll look forward to working with you, now I have to go to a meeting at my company" Heeseung said

 "Ok bye it was nice seeing you again" Jake said

 "You too! Here's my number we can go out and have dinner sometime" Heeseung said

Jake walked out of the cafe happy that he got a job. Jake walked back to Jay's house. Jake oepend the door to find a panicked Jay. 

"Jake! Where have you been?"

 Jake was shocked to see the look of concerned laced on Jay's face. 

"I was just going for a job interview" Jake said

 "My goodness, you scared me I thought you were gone again" Jay sighed

 "Dude, you know I'd never leave you again" Jake said as he rubbed Jay's back comfortingly

 "Please just let me know when you're leaving next time ok?" Jay said

 Jake nodded.

???'s POV: "No, no, no! How is Jake alive?!?". The man screamed frustratingly after finding out Jake was still alive.
