Chapter 11

Hyewun shrugged.

 "I mean think about it, right after we left Sunghoon's house, Jake just appeared on the street" Sunoo argued

 "So you're telling me those letters were magic letters that just made Jake appear?"

 Sunoo nodded.

 "I mean it wouldn't be THAT crazy consider that Jake DID literally come back alive from the dead I guess" Hyewun said

 "What if we look on the roof again?" Sunoo asked

 "For what?" Hyewun asked

 "Maybe like the ghost god or whoever sent Jake back, left something for us" Sunoo said

 "Ghost god? Are you serious" Hyewun raised her eyebrow

 "Well Jake couldn't have come back by himself could he? Unless he's like the boss ghost who could come back by himself whenever he pleases" Sunoo said

 "Ok now you just sound ridiculous" Hyewun scoffed

 "I'm not kidding like remember that day someone just coincidentally left that yearbook from 2017 for you to find in front of the school? Maybe they left something for us on the roof" Sunoo said

 "Yeah yeah believe what you want but I'm meeting the others in the lunch room are you coming?" Hyewun asked

 "Fine but let me do something really quick" Sunoo said

 Hyewun nodded as she walked away.

Sunoo's POV: 

Sunoo was still convinced that there was something on the roof. So obviously Sunoo snuck up to the roof to check. After Making sure no teacher was around to get him in trouble, Sunoo quickly opened the door and ran up to the rooftop. Sunoo began looking everywhere along the ground and behind items like a madman. That's when Sunoo's eyes landed on the rock that they had found the letters under. Quickly scurrying over to the rock he began looking around it. But he just ended up disappointed, suddenly something silver and flashy caught his eye. It was sticking out from under one of the legs of the bench that was next to the rock. Sunoo grabbed it quickly and examined it. It turned out to be a USB drive. Sunoo's face lit up as he quickly hurried off the rooftop to go tell his friends.

"GUYS!" Sunoo yelled as soon as he reached the table his friends were sitting at, "Look what I found on the rooftop right next to the rock" Sunoo said

 His friends looked up at him in curiosity.

 "What do the letters on it mean?" Jungwon asked as he noticed letters "SJY" sharpied on a piece of tape stuck to it

 "Sunoo are you sure this isn't just someone's that they dropped?" Hyewun asked

 "We'll never know unless we watch it right?" Sunoo asked

 "Shouldn't we let Jake know about this?" Hyewun asked

 "Like isn't it weird that his initial just so happen to be on it?" Hyewun said

 "I mean I guess we should let Jake see it plus maybe they'll have something we can plug this into" Sunoo said

After School: Sunoo, Jungwon, and Hyewun all headed to Jake's house after school in hopes of being able to see what was on the video. Hyewun knocked on the door waiting for someone to answer. Not long after, Jake opened the door. 

"Hey guys!" he greeted

 They all said their hello's before stepping into the house. 

"Look what I found" Sunoo said as he pulled out the USB

 "What's that?" Jake asked

 "We don't really know but it has you're initials on it" Sunoo said

 Jake took the object from Sunoo's hand examining it.

 "Hm strange" Jake said

 "I'll see if I can connect it to Jay's computer in his office" Jake said

 Jake led the others to a room down the hallway. 

"Alright let's try it" Jake said

 All four of them leaned into the screen with anticipation as the USB connected. But all it said on the screen was an error message saying the file was locked. 

"BRUH are you serious? I only came cause I thought this would actually be interesting" Jungwon whined 

 "Woww Sunoo great findings with your "detective skills"" Hyewun said sarcastically clearly disappointed

 "Guys calm down, it just says it's locked, we just need someone to unlock it for us" Jake said

 "And who would do that?" Sunoo asked

 "I'm sure Jay knows some people, I can ask him to find somebody for us" Jake said

 "YES PLEASE, I've been dying to find out what's on the tape" Jungwon said

Jay came home to Jake and the three sitting on the couch looking at him.

 "Oh hey guys, I didn't know you guys would come over or I would've made dinner" Jay said

 "We don't want you're dinner, we want to know what's on here" Jungwon growled

 "Jungwon you're scaring him!" Hyewun whisper shouted

 "Uhm what?" Jay asked confused and slightly scared

 "What Jungwon meant to say was, do you know someone who could unlock this USB port I found" Sunoo said

 "What USB port?" Jay asked

 Sunoo walked over and handed Jay the USB.

 "Ohhh one of these things" Jay said

 "I took a tech class in college, I think I might be able to unlock them but why do you need me to unlock it?" Jay asked

 "Well, Sunoo found it on the rooftop of the school and for some odd reason it had my initials on it" Jake said

 "Hm ok fair enough, follow me" Jay said

 They all once again gathered around the computer as Jay plugged in the file. Jay opened up his closet and pulled out a USB scanner.

 (Tbh idk if these actually exist)

 "Basically you just need one of these to be able to find out the passcode and unlock it" Jay said

 Jay plugged the device to his computer and then attached the USB. It scanned it for a minute then a code came up as well as the passcode screen for the USB file. 

"Aha! It's 101501" Jay said as he typed in the code

 The loading bar spun a few times before saying it was a success.

 "Omg Finally" Jungwon groaned

 "SHut up" Hyewun gritted

 'W-wait isn't that Jake? And-"

And who do you think that person is? I feel like it's kinda obvious on who this person might tbh.
