I slowly blinked my eyes open, getting the sleepiness out of them.

When I recognize I wasn't in my own room I remember I fell asleep at Soyers house yesterday.

I sat up in the soft bed and look around for him.

That's when I noticed the sound of a shower running. He must be taking one.

A sudden soreness kicked in, reminding me the events from yesterday.

I stabbed someone..

"It was for self defense" I reminded myself with a sigh.

I fall back onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

Things have been quite hectic recently. It all started after I met Soyer.

But I don't regret meeting him, he's nice and.. I love him.

I don't know what I would do without him.

I was pulled out of my thought at the sound of a phone going off.

I look over to see Soyers phone on the bedside table.

Masons calling.

I look up at the shower door before grabbing his phone.

I'll just tell him he's in the shower.

I clicked answer and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hey, Dad said he already purchased the plane tickets for you to come back to Italy. Are you all packed?" I heard his voice come in through the speaker.

"Wh-what?" I ask in confusion and shock. He's going back to Italy?

"Oh... Hey Delaney" I hear Mason say in a quiet voice.

"Who's going to Italy?" I say in a harsh whisper.

"I'm guess he didn't tell you?"

I stand up from the bed with the phone still up to my ear. "Obviously not" I replied bitterly.

"Calm down Dee, everything will be fine. he's coming back in 2 years".

"2 years?!" I practically yelled into the phone. "So he decided I wasn't important enough to know this information? was he gonna just leave me here after everything?".

I felt tears prick up in the corner of my eyes as my heart feels like it's gonna drop.

"I'm sure he was going to tell you.. he just didn't know how".

"Bullshit! I can't believe this.." I say as I grab at my hair in frustration.

"Please calm dow-"

I hung up the phone before he could finish his sentence and throw the phone down on the bed.

I exit the bedroom and make my way downstairs and to the front door.
