I wish I could say I enjoyed my time in America but I was jetlagged up until a few hours before we left for France. Luckily I was sitting next to Alex on the plane and I could count on her sleeping and letting me sleep for a good amount of time. We all got on the plane and I pulled my sweatshirt hood up while I waited for everyone to put their bags in the overhead. Alex sat down with me after putting her bag up.

"Ready for another 13-hour flight?" She smiled. "Look on the bright side, you have the shortest flight back afterward!" Alex said. "I've just adjusted to this time zone; I'm going to be like someone from the Walking Dead when we get there," I joke with her while the plane gets ready for take-off. "You'll be fine! Besides, it's nothing a few cups of coffee won't fix."

I thankfully was able to fall asleep about an hour into the flight and get some much-needed rest. I woke up again while we were over an ocean and I could hear faint whispers from the girls who weren't asleep; probably Kelley and Sonnett. I plugged in my headphones to watch a movie for the remaining time, or at least until Alex woke up. I got a text fifteen minutes into the first Harry Potter movie from Rose, who was sitting behind me, to angle the screen a bit so she could see. I rolled my eyes but turned my phone so she would be able to see the film.

"Why are you watching it like that?" Alex's raspy voice filled the silence at the very start of the second movie.

"So Rosie can see," I answer. "Rose is sleeping London." I turn around and Rose has indeed fallen asleep sometime during the film. "What movie?"
"Second Harry Potter, want to watch?"
"Sure." I moved the screen again and zone out as the movie plays.

I wake up when the flight attendant says to put seatbelts on and my head is on Alex's shoulder.

"Sorry, you should have moved my head," I say lifting my head and gathering my things back into my backpack. "It's not a problem London. I'm surprised you didn't wake up earlier. Kelley was being loud with Sonnett, Carli yelled at them."

"I have the gift of being able to sleep in any and all conditions," I say glancing back at Rose. "She can tell you."

"She once fell asleep in the locker room before a game, then again afterward. She also fell asleep with like eleven of us in the car blasting music. She is all chill."

"Do you just not sleep at night?" Alex asks me worriedly. "I do, you can just never get enough sleep."

We land and get to our hotel fairly quickly compared to my last flight. I'm rooming with Lindsey this time which is nice seeing as she speaks French. I fully intend on using her as a translator.

"Lindsey! How are you doing this fine day? Night? I've lost sense of time at this point."
"So dramatic London. It's ten, and I'm doing good, how are you?" She says slinging an arm around my shoulders.

"I think I'm borderline delirious but otherwise grand!" Up at the room, I immediately jump on my bed and sigh. "I hate hotel beds. It's the covers. My blanket in London is all soft and fuzzy, this duvet is just not fuzzy."
"Does it ever get confusing living in London and being named London?" Lindsey asks ignoring my previous statement. "Nope. Maybe when I'm telling stories other people get confused but not for me. Does it confuse you?" I ask turning my head to look at her.

"Occasionally."

"Hm, here's something helpful: I don't refer to myself in the third person so if I say London, it's probably the city," I say.

"Thanks, very helpful," She responds sarcastically before sitting on her own bed. "Do you like France? I've visited a few times and it's beautiful but I could never live here."
"I like the country, and it's just really different from America. You get used to it though," She responds. It's times like these I forget they don't know I grew up half in the Netherlands and half in America to know how living in Europe is. "True." And I wasn't about to go into that.

It's safe to say I was ready to fall asleep and never wake up after training. We had a two hour training to 'keep us moving' and all that fun stuff, but I would have rathered to stay in bed the whole day. "You look like you want to go walk around the city!" Lindsey says while I'm half asleep in the elevator. "I will not hesitate to drag you everywhere I go so I can understand what's going on," I threaten her, only half-joking because I plan on doing that anyways. "I'm going to be your translator regardless, besides a little site-seeing never killed anyone!"

"I will go site-seeing with you in an hour or two. When I'm not half-asleep from my sense of time being screwed over and being on a plane for 13 hours," I promise her.

"Deal. I'll start a list."

She was serious when she said she was going to make a list and when she woke me up from my nap I was promised coffee and rushed out the door. We stopped at a little cafe on the river first for some coffee, then we continued our "site-seeing adventure" as Lindsey called it, we walked through the city looking at the different buildings and made our way to the port. We watched the ships for a couple of minutes while we finished our drinks before walking back to the hotel.

Yeah. This was a filler chapter because I don't know what to write. Sort of London's relationships with some of the girls? I don't know, regardless, hope you liked it! I appreciate y'all!
