This is going to be a shorter one, sorry!

"Oh, I meant to ask you earlier," Jill said. "Do you speak Dutch?"

I cleared my throat and took a minute to think.

"Um yeah, we do." I finally said after a long pause.

"That's so cool! Why didn't you tell us?" Jill asked excitedly.

"Well, uh, I don't know. You never really asked," I said hesitantly.

"Do you speak any other languages?" Beth asked.

"Nope."

"So are you from the Netherlands? You said it was somewhere in Europe, and you have a slight accent." Daan asked.

This certainly wasn't what I wanted.

"Yeah I am, I lived there before moving to the States."

"Where?" Jill asked.

"Eindhoven."

"Oh that's near where I'm from," Danielle said.

"Really? That's cool," I said.

"Is that where you went?" Beth asked.

"Um yeah, my cousin has a house there so I went and stayed with her."

"Is that why she didn't know your name? Cause she calls you a Dutch one?" Danielle asked.

"Yeah. Really no one in my family calls me London. I just prefer it," I told them.

"Can I ask your actual name?" Beth asked.

"Anika."

"Oh, that's pretty!" Jill said.

"Yeah, I like it." Danielle agreed.

"It is pretty. And it suits you," Beth said.

"Yeah I guess, so when's the next training?" I asked to change the subject.

"Tomorrow. At noon," Beth told me.

"Great, well I'm going to head to bed now. See you guys in the morning," I stood up and went to my room.

I woke up in a cold sweat and jolted up in bed. I looked at a clock and the numbers 1:45 shone on the screen. I got out of bed and went into the kitchen to get a glass of water to try and calm down.

I quietly got a cup from the cupboard and filled it with water. Leaning against the counter I took deep breaths and drank a few sips of water.

I saw a light turn on down the hall and noticed I hadn't put my sweatshirt on to cover my arms. I took the glass with me and tiptoed back to my room.

I made it back and locked the door before sighing with relief. If someone saw me that would've been bad.

In the actual morning, I remembered to put my sweatshirt on. I made my way to the kitchen and made toast with tea. I sat down at the empty table since everyone else was asleep. We had four hours until training which seemed like a good time to wake everyone else up.

"WORD WAKKER JILL!" I shouted in her room.
"WAKE UP JILL!"

"Hoe laat is het?" she mumbled. I looked at her clock and chose the safe route: Lie.
"What time is it?"

"Negen" The people in this house did not wake up early. At all.
"Nine."

"Jij leugenaar" She said grumpily when she saw it was eight.

"You liar"

"Sorry," I shrugged.

I next woke Beth up without screaming since I could count on her actually waking up.

"Morning Beth, wake up. We have training soon. I set the kitchen on fire."

"You did what?" She asked worriedly.

"Nothing, just waking everyone up!" I responded cheerfully.

Daan was the scariest. I opened her door and unfortunately, she was still asleep.

"DAAN WORD WAKKER!" I shouted from the doorway. I walked over to her bed.

"DAAN WAKE UP!"

"Daan, Daan, DVD, Danielle, DVD, Daan, Danielle!" I said poking her. She slowly opened her eyes and glared at me.

"What?" She asked.

"Wake up."

"It's too early."

"The kitchen's burning down."

"I don't smell smoke."

"We're all dying from inhaling smoke!"

"London, is something actually wrong?"

"Yes," I said seriously.

"What?" She asked leaning on her elbow.

"You won't wake up."

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

"We have training and you take 2 hours to get ready!"

"I thought something was actually wrong!"

"Sorry, Danielle."

"Come here," Daan pulled me into a hug and I made sure none of the bruises got hit.

"Don't wake me up like that ever again," She whispered.

"Never."

We were late for training cause I was right and Danielle took 2 hours to get ready.

"Guys hurry up!" I said as we pulled into the training ground.

"We're not late!" Danielle protested.

"It started a minute ago!"

"It's only a minute calm down," Jill said.

We somehow were able to get to the locker room 'on time'.

"You're late!" Katie teased as they walked in.

"Told you," I muttered under my breath.

"You're back!" Jordan said hugging me.

"Yeah, I need to put my boots on now though." I detangled myself from her and did just that.

'So, where were you?" she asked as we walked onto the pitch.

"My cousin's house."

"Where is that?"

"Europe."

"Are you okay now?"

"Yep. Just needed to clear my head."

"What happened at the flat? With Leah, you looked like you had seen a ghost." Jordan asked.

"I don't remember." I lied.

"Okay.." She said skeptically.

After training back at the flat it was my turn to cook. I was making pasta and chicken and had looked away for literally two seconds.

"London, care to explain why the hell the chicken is on fire!" Beth asked.

"What? OH MY GOD!" The chicken was on fire.

"What do we do?" I asked.

"Water."

After putting the fire out I looked at the chicken.

"Is this like a marshmallow? It's okay to char it?" I asked.

"London this isn't charred, it's burnt," Beth said.

"did you burn something?" Daan asked coming into the kitchen.

"Yes."
"No." Beth and I said at the same time.

"It's just charred," I assured Daan.

"It's burned." Beth countered.

"So pizza?" I asked.

"Yes. you're not cooking again tonight." Dannielle agreed.

"Cool, Jill come here to order pizza!"

Why are we ordering pizza?" She asked.

"London burned dinner," Daan explained.

"Seriously?"

"Yeah."

"I swear I don't normally burn things."

"When you say the kitchen's on fire, let it be a joke like this morning," Beth said.

"Deal."
