Queer love has always existed
In the form of close good friends
And although that narrative is insited
The truth will be revealed in the end
Of those who lived together
Of those who sent love notes
Of those who shared a bed
A love that has lasted forever
Nights together in matching tailcoats
Ignored because you couldnt be wed
