Slowly,
The world
Around me fades
To a deep shade
Of inky blackness that hides
The shaddows of the living dead.
Flash!
The light
It blinds me
With a bright ray
Of an eternal lasting white
That shows my faults and flaws
I
Am the
King of darkness
Prince of the light
Controlling the things you see
And keeping their shadows at bay
You.
The one
Who keeps me
The king of light
And the prince of darkness
My soul, spirit, love and life
Thrill
The chase
And hunt for
The purpose of us
The meaning of our existence
Of which we still must find
Lost
Without you
My only rock
The chain and lock
That binds me so tight
As I beg for my release
