Chapter 6: Learning Her Backstory

Dr. Bright's P.O.V:
I was going through the foundation's records but there was nothing on SCP-000's history. They don't even know where she came from before she was reincarnated. All I know is that she was born at a hospital in Paris, France. The City of Love I may add. I then got a call on my phone. It was the O-5 Council! They informed me that I was now the head researcher on the SCP-000 case and they had somewhere I needed to be. A research team found some things regarding SCP-000 in the cave Gouffre de Padirac which is located in Paris, France Y/N's place of "origin''. I decided to get down there right away.

*Timeskip to when he arrives in Paris, France*

I had just arrived at Gouffre de Padirac where the other researchers filled me in. Apparently, they had just found a prophecy about SCP-000, but are unable to read it. I took a look at the cave wall and was surprised I could read it. I could understand it like it was in English, but it clearly wasn't. It was in a language I had never even seen before.

I read the prophecy out loud: "To whoever has found this prophecy this is our warning to you! Y/N is the true bride of the Scarlet King. Whatever happens, DO NOT LET HER REMEMBER HER PAST AT ALL COSTS!!! Be cautious of the sixth child of the Scarlet King if they get anywhere near her they will remind her of her past and if she remembers she will create a magical shockwave so powerful and so potent that it would rip a hole in our reality allowing the Scarlet King to finally enter into our world. It all started long ago, The Goddess of Love Y/N was forced to marry the Scarlet King, but not wanting to marry him she revolted by killing herself before the wedding could happen. Enraged by this the Scarlet King decided he would not let her off that easily, instead, she would become the portal that would allow him into our plane of reality. He reincarnated her in our realm just as gorgeous as she once was, but he placed a curse on her to have anyone that looked into her eyes or kissed her fall into a deep obsession with her whether she wanted them to or not and if she ever recalled her past she would become the portal that let him enter into our world and she would once again become his bride. He placed another curse on her as well that made her curious to learn about her past which would lead to the downfall of humanity. He also gave her immortality so she could not kill herself again. He also cursed her with a rage like no other that if triggered will cause her to go on a rampage and the blood of so many people will be spilled until her rage can be subdued. After her rage subsides, she will not remember the villainous acts she had committed during her rampage. He also placed golden cuffs on her wrist which she can never remove as a brief reminder of her eternal enslavement to him. This was her punishment by the Scarlet King for ending her previous life. Do not let her remember or we are all doomed to die by the Scarlet King's hand!"

I frowned and thought 'I guess I can't help Y/N after all.' I was then called into a meeting with the O-5 Council regarding the prophecy about SCP-000. They had ordered me to keep this information hidden from everyone that didn't have level 5 clearance and especially keep this information isolated from Y/N. They said I could tell her false evidence about herself but I could never tell her the truth about her true lineage lest we suffer at the hands of the Scarlet King. Right now I am standing at the door of her containment chamber looking at her sign:

I take a deep breath and go inside. "Hello SCP-000." I greeted. She looked over at me from the oven and replied "Oh, Dr. Bright you're here. I wasn't expecting you, but it's very nice to see you again anyway." She then took the food out and placed it on the table. It smelled heavenly~ She then said, "Would you like to join me for dinner, Dr. Bright? I made A5 Japanese Beef Roti Don. It's one of my specialties. So I hope you enjoy it!" With the sweetest smile on her face.

I swear this woman is definitely wife material. With her looks and personality in combination with her amazing cooking skills, she would be the best wife ever. I replied, "I'd love to stay for dinner since I haven't eaten, and that food smells magnificent!" I sat down and I was completely blown away by how absolutely savory this food was. I had never had food this incredible in my life! We ate and then we began to talk. She then asked "Dr. Bright, avez-vous découvert quelque chose sur mon passé? Peu m'importe si ce que vous avez découvert est petit, je veux juste en savoir plus sur moi-même!" (Translation: Dr. Bright have you figured out something about my past? I don't care if what you discovered is small I just want to know more about myself!) With an excited and energetic smile. I quickly came up with a good lie to tell her. I don't want to lie to her I really don't but I have to, in order, to keep Earth safe. I said "Well my dear, apparently, you were a princess in your previous life and you were very well beloved by everyone in your kingdom. I'm sorry but that's all I've uncovered for now. I hope you don't mind." I then get up from the table before telling her goodbye and leaving her chamber.
