Y/N's P.O.V:
I was sitting in my chair with Aérer in my lap while reading a good book. Suddenly, I hear someone walk into the room, so I look up from my book and see Dr. Bright. "Oh, Dr. Bright, what a surprise. It's good to see you. So what brings you here?" "Well, we need to participate in another cross-test." Dr. Bright said. I smiled at him and asked, "So, who am I meeting today?" He blushed before looking away and smiling a bit as he replied, "SCP-049 The Plague Doctor, and he's already been notified about your arrival." I give Dr. Bright a close-eye smile and say, "Well, I hope he and I can become good friends." Dr. Bright stops blushing and looks at me before he says, "Okay 000, enough chit-chat, let's get you to 049's containment and start the cross-test."

Two armored guards entered the room and stood on either side of Dr. Bright. Aérer then sat up, bared their teeth, and growled at the guards. Before anything else could happen, I gave Aérer some scritches under their chin, and they froze before closing their mouth and purring at my touch. After I gave them some scritches, Aérer nuzzled against me while still purring. I turn my attention to the guards and say, "Sorry about that gentlemen, Aérer really doesn't like it when people approach me with a weapon in hand." I pet Aérer's head before continuing. "So it would be better if you put your weapons away before you come in or leave them at the door. Whichever one works for you. Oh, and make sure to put your weapons away whenever my creations are around me, especially when I'm outside my containment."

Dr. Bright then says, "I guess we have a new containment protocol now. Good to know, thank you 000." I respond, "It's no problem, Dr. Bright. I'm always happy to help." I give them a closed-eyed smile. Dr. Bright then instructs the guards to put away their weapons for the time being. I took Aérer into my arms and stood up before I began to pet them again. I put Aérer on the ground and make them disappear before walking over to Dr. Bright and the guards. I stand in front of them and say, "Alright, I'm ready to go." Dr. Bright then says, "Right then, let's get going." The guards get on either side of me as I follow Dr. Bright out of my containment to the SCP I'll be meeting today.

They lead me to a cell and tell me to go inside. I do so and see a man wearing a mask working on something. As I walked closer, the man caught sight of me and waved in a friendly manner. "Oh! Hello there, you must be the one they informed me about. It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am." I smile and say, "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, sir." "My aren't you a polite one." Said the doctor, I reply, "Of course. I do want to make a good first impression, after all." He then said, "Well, I very much appreciate it, my dear." "Anyway, may I ask your name? I'm sure a beautiful woman like you would have an equally beautiful name." I blush and say, "Thank you very much, sir. My name is Y/N. Since you know my name now, may I know yours?"

The Dr. chuckles and says, "As I suspected a gorgeous name for a gorgeous lady like yourself. I must say your name really suits you." I blush and reply, "Thank you." He then continues. "As for me. My name is Haselhurst, but most people just call me Doc." (A/N: By the way, guys, I looked it up, and that's his actual name. Like no joke, that's his actual cannon name. Look it up for yourself if you don't believe me.) I then ask, "Well, then is it alright if I call you Doc as well?" He chuckled again and replied, "But of course, my dear." I smile at him and say, "Well then, it's a pleasure to meet you, Doc." "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Ms. Y/N," I tell him, "Oh please, there's no need for that. You can just call me by my name."

He then came up to me, took my hand in his, and kissed the back of it before saying, "As you wish, Y/N~" My entire face was bright red. I took my hand back from him and covered my face in embarrassment as Doc chuckled at my flustered state. After I calmed down, Doc and I sat down and had a wonderful conversation. During our conversation, I asked Doc if he would like some tea. "But of course, I'll drink whatever tea you choose but I must ask where you are going to get the tea?" I just smile at him and give a little giggle before I say, "Just watch and see, Haselhurst." I then stand up, teleport to my chamber, and grab two teabags as well as a teapot, two saucers, and two teacups before teleporting back to Doc. I sat back down in front of the stunned doctor and placed a saucer and teacup in front of him. I then place my saucer and teacup in front of me as Doc gets out of his stunned state.

Doc then says, "My, I must say that was quite impressive Y/N." I thank him. "Why thank you, Doctor." I then use my powers to fill the teapot with boiling water before placing the two teabags in and adding more boiling water. I then let it sit for two minutes as Doc and I continued to talk. As soon as the tea was done, I poured him a cup before pouring a cup for myself. I then asked him, "Would you like some sugar or milk with your tea, or maybe you would like both?" Haselhurst responded, "Sugar, please." So I teleported my sugar container to my hand and placed it on the table before asking, "How many sugar cubes would you like?" He replied, "Two, please." While holding up two fingers. I place two sugar cubes in his drink before placing some sugar cubes in mine.

We drink some tea and continue our lovely conversation. I was having a wonderful time talking to Haselhurst. We talked about all kinds of things from science to literature. We even talked about medical things. It was absolutely lovely. But unfortunately, our time was up. The guards entered the cell to escort me back to my chamber. I stood up, and the doctor looked disappointed that I had to leave. He then gently grabbed my wrist, and I turned to look at him as he asked, "Will I get to see you, Y/N?" I smile softly at him as I reply, "Of course, Haselhurst. I promise I'll be back. Next time, I'll make some snacks for us to enjoy at our next tea time." His eyes seemed to brighten at my words, and I could sense he was smiling under his mask. He lets go of my wrist and says, "Then until we meet again, my dear." I turn to face him completely and say, "Yes, until we meet again, Dr." I then turn back to the guards as they escort me out of the cell.

Haselhurst/Doc's P.O.V:
As I watched her walk out of my cell, I couldn't help but feel an emptiness take over me. It was like there was a gaping hole in my heart. She made me feel complete like I had found a piece of myself that I didn't even know was missing. I felt comfortable and happy in her presence. When we talked, I couldn't help but be completely engaged in the conversation no matter what topic we discussed. When I talked to her about my findings and about the Pestilence, the disease I was trying to cure, she sat there and listened to every word I had to say. It was absolutely wonderful to finally have someone who would actually listen to me instead of dismissing my words and thinking I was crazy. She had completely stolen my heart without even trying, and I just can't wait for our next meeting.

Dr. Bright's P.O.V:
When I watched 000 talk with 049 and I saw them laugh together and enjoy each other's company... I couldn't help but feel jealous, wishing I was in 049's place instead. I wanted to be the one to make her laugh to make her smile. As I walked with SCP-000 and the guards back to 000's cell, I asked her, "Well 000, did you have a good time?" She smiled brightly at me and replied, "Most definitely, Dr. Bright. I had a wonderful time talking to the doctor. I truly do hope I get to see him again." I clenched my fists at her words but I quickly calmed down since I shouldn't let my personal feelings interfere with my work as it was against The Foundation's rules to let your personal feelings get in the way of performing your tasks. When we got to 000's cell, she waved goodbye to us, and we waved back before she entered her containment chamber.
