"You like these?" Draco asked holding a pair of air maxes up.

Ximora shrugged "Yea they're cute, but I have enough stuff for today"

He eyed the three bags she held and shook his head.

"Nah you need to get at least two more pairs of shoes" he said.

She looked over at KJ who was surrounded by bags. "Okayyyy"

"I like these" she said picking up some vapormax.

He nodded and went over to an employee.

"Wassup mama" she heard causing her to turn.

"Hi Kyrie" she gave him a small wave and smile.

"Wassup Kamari" he smiled trying to dap her up but she just looked at him.

"What you on tonight?" He asked turning back to Ximora.

"Probably gonna chill at home" she told him.

He nodded "You could twist my shit?"

She eyed the waves on his head and laughed.

"Nah for real I just wanna hang witchu, you tryna come over?" He asked.

"Mmm no, I don't think so" she answered.

"C'monnnn Mora, why you always being lame wimme" he stood up and yanked her towards him.

"Kyrie.."

"You being weird as hell" he said gripping her arm tighter causing Ximora to try and push him.

"She said no" a deep voice sounded causing Kyrie to freeze up and let her go.

"This you boss? My fault, y'all have a blessed day" he said grabbing his stuff and walking off.

KJ rolled her eyes and walked over to Draco.

"We could get me another shoe?" KJ asked.

He mugged Ximora a little then nodded "Yea come"

The car ride from the mall was silent and filled with tension.

Occasionally, Ximora would glance over at a visibly upset Draco. Then she would look back at KJ, who was occupied with her new iPad, it was supposed to be a Christmas gift from Draco but he couldn't wait.

"Draco.." Ximora called once they made it home.

He looked up from his game "Hmm?"

"What's wrong? I did sum?" She asked sitting next to him.

"No" He said glancing at the TV.

"Oh..because your energy shifted towards me earlier" she explained.

He shook his head "Mm"

She stood up rolling her eyes and mumbled something under her breath. As she began to walk away he grabbed her arm.

"Speak the fuck up"

"You don't have to curse at me" she said.

He shook his head "You don't gotta be all up in niggas faces while you out wimme"

"If that's why you had pressure, you could've just said that" she rolled her eyes.

"Kyrie came up to me and I denied him, it wasn't like- ion even gotta explain myself, we not together" she said mugging him.

"Maneeee" he dragged knowing she was right.

She stood there for a second then spoke "You know what lemme just go get our stuff, I see what this really is"

He scrunched up his face and pulled her back a little.

"See what?" He asked.

"You just wanna fuck, you don't wanna 'help'. You literally got close to us just to fuck me"

"Mora you really gon say that? If I wanted to just fuck you think I woulda opened my house to y'all and whatever else?" He asked standing up.

She tried to back up, since he was towering over her, but instead hit a wall.

"I don't know what to think Jaelen" she said using his first name.

He shook his head "None of the shit I did was to plot on you, Mora. You beautiful but that's not my goal, I genuinely wanna help"

"Sit down" he said.

"We're just gonna go.." she said a little embarrassed.

"Nah you gon sit down, I'm not saying it again" he reiterated.

She huffed but sat down in her original spot.

"My bad for trippin' out on you bout that nigga." He said.

"I'm sorry for accusing you, I appreciate everything" she told him.

He nodded and stood up again, pulling her up with him.

"Gimme a hug" he smiled.

Ximora stared at his face, specifically his lips, for a minute.

He chuckled and bent down, kissing her for a few seconds.

"You straig-"

"We putting the tree up?" KJ asked rushing into the living room.

Ximora jumped back and looked to KJ.

"Yea lemme go get the bags" he said going into the kitchen.

Although he had never set up a Christmas tree, he went out and bought everything for KJ.

Ximora walked over to the tree box and opened it so she could start setting the tree up.

"Mora, is mommy coming over?" KJ asked.

Ximora shook her head "Ummm probably not... that's okay though we'll still have a fun Christmas"

KJ sadly nodded but lit up when Draco came back.

They spent the rest of the night decorating the condo.
