"Happy Birthday" Ximora said softly as she came into Jaelen's room with breakfast.

She rested the tray down and gently shook him.

"Hmm?" He sounded keeping his eyes closed.

"I brought you food" she said.

He nodded and slowly sat up.

"Thank you" he said taking the tray from her.

She walked out the room to clean the kitchen and give time him to get start getting ready.

Soon Jaelen came out the room, dressed and ready to start the day.

"Mane tell Jade she ain gotta throw no party" Jaelen groaned.

"It's not a party it's a little get together, she only invited a few of your friends" Ximora explained.

He shook his head "I told y'all ion want to do much"

"That's why she planned something small" she smiled.

"But come on, let's go to the salon" she said causing him to grab his keys.

As promised, part of his birthday gift included a retwist.

"Wassup Mora" Ty said as they walked into the shop.

She gave him a smile and waved "Hey Ty"

"I thought you wasn't coming in today" he said as he continued cutting hair.

"I wasn't, just gotta get him right" she told him.

Ty nodded and finally looked at Jaelen.

"Wassup man, I'm Ty"

Jaelen eyed him then turned to Ximora.

"Where your booth at?" He asked completely ignoring Ty's greeting.

She just pointed to the back and he started walking that way.

"Alright Ty, I'll see you" she said following after Jaelen.

"That wasn't nice" Ximora said as she sat Jaelen at the wash bowl.

He chuckled "Ion give a fuck"

"That nigga want you too" he said.

Ximora rolled her eyes "No he doesn't, he's like my boss"

"That ain never stopped anyone" he said laughing some more.

Once she finished his wash and treatment, they moved to her chair and she got started.

"You see my hair growing" he watched as she parted his hair.

She smiled as she added product.

"It isss, would you ever cut it?" She asked.

He shook his head "Nah I had these since freshman year, a nigga 22 now"

She nodded "I love your hair"

"What we doing after this?" He asked leaning back in the chair.

"Umm your aunty got KJ and Maliyah from Jade earlier, but KJ wanna see you so we'll go by there for a minute" she told him.

He nodded "Yea I miss her"

"You saw her all day, yesterday" Ximora laughed.

After a few hours of talking then switching to a haircut, Ximora was done.

"Thank you baby" Jaelen smiled kissing her.

"You're welcome" she smiled back.

"Ight Mora, I'll see you" Ty said as Ximora and Jaelen walked out.
