9: Okay

I would be crazy not to listen to Kai, there was also something in me that wanted him to be that possessive and controlling again. Something about his alarming demeanour turns me on, so at around three I found a reason to go out and here I am, in front of his door about to ring it. There are a few cars outside his garage what if he is not here? Should I text him? I am not sure what to do. I am terrified, what if he is slightly angry? What if he forces me to stay the night? I told my parents I would go back home. Let me just ring the bell.

The doorbell rings and I hear someone come to the door, he opens the door but he is not Kai.

"Hi, I am here for Kai?" He nods and suggests I enter. He leads me to the lounge and there Kai is sitting with a group of men who look dangerous, they too are covered in tattoos but they have scars and their demeanour screams 'I will kill you with a pencil' when he sees me his eyes light up but his face remains stoic. I stand awkwardly waiting for Kai to do something and he just sits looking at me while everyone in the room continues their conversation. There are seven men if I counted accurately.

He stands up and makes his way toward me and holds his hands out and instinctively I jump into his arms. I rest my head in the crook of his neck.

"I'm coming back." The men respond with 'sure's and 'okay's. He leads us into the kitchen, he sets me on the counter and stands in between my legs.

"Friends of yours? You could have told me you were having some time with your friends, I would have come later." I really would have just stayed in bed and seen him tomorrow.

"I want you here more than them." His charming self is the one I am talking to. "Look, I am going to make you some food because I have a feeling you have not eaten in a while." He would be correct, I only ate breakfast.

"You need help?" I ask stepping off the counter.

"Ask them if they want me to cook or should I order them food." Them? Me? Asking them something? Talking to them? I am terrified of them!
He must have noticed my hesitation because he turns to face me. "They don't bite and if they do anything to you, I would kill them, they know that now please go." I can do this. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.

"Uhm, hi. Kai is asking if he should order food for you guys or cook something for you guys?" They look at each other before they start discussing.

"He has never cooked for us before, should we trust that he knows what he is doing?" The blond guy says as every one allows him to speak.

"He knows how to cook." I find myself confirming for him.

"Let's us order food..." The black-haired guy says.

"No, I want to taste his cooking." A brunette says

"Who wants pizza?" Three guys lift their hands

"Who wants to taste Kaiser's cooking?" Four guys lift their hands.

"Majority rules. Tell him he better not burn it." I nod and return to the kitchen.

"They want to experiment with taking your cooking," I say hugging him from behind. He is a puzzle but he makes me feel safe and so I want to be around him all the time.

"I am just going to air fry this." He holds up marinating chicken "maybe I should fry it, what do you want?" What would the guys like more? I do not know, I don't know them.

"Fry it, please." He nods before reaching for his chopping board. "You need help?" He nods.

"Please take out the flour in the cupboard above the oven, then I need three shallow plates." I know where the plates are. I grab the things as he washes his hands.

I set the things down for him, grabbed a glass and a vodka bottle then sat on the island as he cuts and tenderizes the cuts.

I helped him as much as I could. He also made a sauce using lemon juice and white wine. He plated the dishes by himself as I looked and made sure he is annoyed.

He calls his friends to the table.

"Guys this is Kamo, my girlfriend, I hear any shit about it, I swear I will drag you by your teeth." Girlfriend??? I'm sorry Mr but you never asked me for such. His comment was unsettling but it is rude not to focus on the conversation.

"So Shadow and I are the only ones without girlfriends, damn, it's okay guys leave us out." I am trying to figure out what their names are but I have no clue how I am to figure that out.

The conversation is flowing and we finished eating and we left the dishes for after his friends had left. I am drinking a cocktail that Kai made for me. He made me sit on his lap and I was not about to object. It was nice being in his arms especially when he laughed at the jokes his friends made. They are very cool people.

I know that the one who opened the door for me is Pacer, the brunette is Shadow, the blond is Zale and the black-haired guy is Billy. There is Chris who commented on him and Shadow being single. Then there is Matt who does not talk a lot, Enzo kept to himself.

I swear being tipsy is making me horny and the fact that Kai is gently rubbing his fingers on my back drove me crazy. Pulling my phone out, I notice that it is seven pm, my mom sent me a text an hour prior asking when I am coming home.

"You want me to stay over?" I hum into his ear. He nods and I stand to call my mom. Hopefully, she is chilled with everything.

"I'm going to come to fetch my uniform and then come back to Sibo's house." She sighs knowing that I will sneak out if she refuses. She resigns her frustration and tells me to be quick. I thank her before going to Kai.

"I need to fetch my uniform now." I was planning on going by myself but he wanted to take me.

"We are going to her house then we will stop at the store because you all finished my Jäger, assholes." They laugh amongst themselves as we go into the garage. He picks the G-wagon and opens the door for me.

He parks at my neighbour's house and I get out and rush into the house. I pack my school bag before placing my uniform in a duffle bag along with my toiletries and a casual outfit.

"See you tomorrow, I think. I am gonna tell you all about it when I come back, okay?" She just asks that I come back, she misses seeing me a lot.

"You know you can tell me anything, right?" She asks as I hug her.

"Yes, dearest mother in the whole world." She kisses my cheek and allows me to go. I walk over to Kai waiting for me by the passenger door.

"What have you losers been doing?" Kai shouts as we walk in. I decided to go to his room and put my bag. We bought a few snacks, his jäger and some other bottles of alcohol for his friends.

I head to his room to finish off my homework.
