Another normal morning routine rolls around.

Wake up late, eat breakfast with the boys, watch tv, and do what ever else was necessary.

I head to the bedroom and pick out a nice green dress to wear to my grandmas.

I put on mascara and throw on my docs.

Very simple but nan loves it.

“Where are you going?” Karl asks.

I chuckle “I told you this morning, it's my grandmas birthday so i'm going to get her a card and head over there.”

“Can we come with?” Sapnap excitedly says.

I close my eyes and smile.

I shake my head and in less than a minute it sounds like a stampede of elephants are heading up the stairs.

They all come down in either a green dress shirt or bow tie.

“Come on, we have to hurry! We all need to get her a card!”

We run out the door, and towards the car.

We quickly head into the store.

“K, i'm going to get her a cupcake real quick. Who wants to go quickly grab a lighter and candles?”

George is running out of the isle the minute I finish my sentence.

Man he must really love candles.

“Meet up at check-out!” I shout, walking to the different slices of cakes and cupcakes.

“Cards everyone?” They all hold them up and we're out the door.

“Nan!” I walk in and give her a hug.

“Happy birthday!” The six of us say together.

“Awe.” She smiles at us.

“Come light the cupcake with us.”  Clay helps her up.

“I was planning on making a cake, want to help?” She asks.

We all spread out around her kitchen to grab things for a cake.

“Alex? Do you have the vegetable oil?” I ask, he hums a yes.

“Betty, you don't have sprinkles.” Clay says.

“Oh is that so?” She mumbles.

“I can go get them!” Karl grabs the keys.

We start making the cake when my phone is buzzing like crazy in my pocket.

“Clay, will you grab my phone? You're the closest.”

“Its Karl.”

“So answer dummy.” Sapnap laughs.

“What?” Alex asks, putting his face in frame.

“Do we want rainbow sprinkles, pink, purple, christmas sprinkles. I need to know.” Karl flips the camera showing the wide variety of sprinkles.

“Nan, what kind of sprinkles?”

She thinks for a minute and finally decides on multi-colored sprinkles.

Karl gets back just in time for us to put sprinkles into the cake.

While we wait for the cake to bake we play card games with nan.

‘Ding!’ the oven rings.

“Cake!” Nan sings.

We make the frosting while the cake cools.

We finally frost the cake and turn the lights out to sing to her.

“Happy birthday to you!” We sing to her.

We enjoy our cake slices and watch some tv before it's time to go home.

“I love nan.” Alex says in the car.

“Vouch.” Clay says.
