(Fantasy AU)
(A) knows pretty much the whole town's gossip, being a blacksmith (or witch doctor, alchemist, mercenary, etc) and all, so (B)'s party comes to their shop quite frequently for side quests to pick up, the duo get to know each other pretty easily obviously, and that's pretty much it for the main part of the scenario.
1.) The party takes (A) along, and one night (B) can't sleep, so they go downstairs, to find (A) awake, just like them, it basically just being a midnight talk in order to get them both a bit more tired.
2.) a townsperson was being rather creepy to (B), so (A) steps in and almost knocks the person's lights out,
3.) make it up!
