This can either be a really a really fluffy scenario between friends or, it could be crushes too.
The world is consumed by darkness, and, (A) holds a power that has the ability to take that darkness away, which they find out by doing so with their old caregiver (C). (Probably some flashbacks involved with this part)
But, people start to abuse their power and use (A) to take away their darkness too, which then makes it start to plague (A).
One day (B) find (A) at the tree, where they usually meet up for things, and figure out that (A) has been fully consumed. What does (B) do?
