Always and Forever

two

Another day. Another training session. Another day without waking up beside my girl. My Always and Forever.

It's not easy and it's not getting easier. If anything it's getting harder, a lot harder.
I woke up, brushed my teeth and fixed my hair, putting it into a high pony before putting my training stuff on. I have a necklace, it's a heart and it says, Always and Forever on it. Leah got me it, she has one too. It's our matching necklaces. I still wear mines. I don't know if she still wears hers but, i do, i still wear mines.

After i was ready, i fixed the bed i am sleeping in before meeting Viv and Lisa in their kitchen. I sat down at the table and Viv joined me. Putting a hand on my shoulder.

"good morning, kiddo"

"hey viv"

"what you wanting for breakfast?"

"wheetabix?"

"coming right up! Lisa, babe let's get this kid some breakfast"

"right away, hun"
I smiled at my favourite couple and watched as Lisa danced around the kitchen before handing me my breakfast.

I finished my wheetabix and we left for training. Obviously Lisa is on loan to West Ham but she trains at the same time as us. I arrived with Viv as Lisa drove to her training. When we arrived i didn't get out of the car, i didn't get out for one reason and one reason only. We arrived at the same time as Leah. Leah was with Beth, they were walking towards us. They were walking towards Viv who was looking at me, wondering why i was still sat in her car. I pointed behind her and she looked.

"come on. Let's go"
Viv said. I shook my head.

"I know, kid. I know but we've got to go"
I just looked at viv.

"I know you're hurting and i know it's hard but you've got this"
I smiled at Viv and got out of the car, closing the door behind me.

Everything seemed fine. We were about to start walking towards the training facility but Beth ran over. She was vlogging and Leah, Leah followed Beth over. I locked eyes with Leah before looking away. There was a lot of tension. I was stood as far away from Leah as possible. Viv and Beth were standing in between myself and Leah.

"Soph!! How's it going? The fans have been dying to see you on the vlogs"
I fake smiled at my fellow Lioness.

"I'm good Beth. How are you?"

"I'm not too bad. Anything to add?"

"No"

"You're so boring. Come on, Add something"

"No. I don't have anything to add"

"Kiss Leah. The fans would love to see their favourite couple kiss"
Yeah. Me and Leah, we're public.

I looked at Beth. I felt my heart drop. I couldn't cry. I stared at Beth before looking at Leah who had a slight smirk on her face. I then looked at Viv who's eyes were on me.
I didn't know what to do. I looked at Beth before running inside. I ran and i didn't stop. I kept running until i ran into Katie. I was in tears.

"Watch it!"

"so-sorry"
I looked at Katie who wrapped her arms around me as soon as she saw my face.

"hey, what's wrong?"

"i'm okay"

"little one, what's wrong?"

"Katie, please. I promise, it's nothing"

"Sophie! What's wrong?"

"Beth"

"What did Meado do?"

"She didn't mean it"

"Sophie!"

"She-"
I was interrupted by Beth's voice.

"Sophie! Your girlfriend is upset! Why didn't you kiss her!"
I just looked at the ground trying to force the tears to stay in my eyes but they just kept falling from my face.

"she's not upset"
I said, quietly back.

"Her own girlfriend just rejected her. Of course she's upset! Why didn't you kiss her?"

"Beth. Leave her alone"
Katie said. Stepping in.

"I'm only asking a question. Why didn't you kiss Leah? You are in a very public relationship"

"I know i'm in a public relationship! I'm aware!"
I snapped back.

"what's going on here?"
Kim, the captain asked as she must have overheard us.

"Beth won't leave Sophie alone. Sophie is crying and Beth won't stop nagging on at her"

"I didn't mean to make her cry! I was only asking a question"

"Beth, why don't you leave young Sophie alone?"

"Yeah, alright. Sorry Soph"

"It's alright bethy"
Beth then walked away, In the direction of the changing room.

"are you okay?"
Kim asked me.

"Yeah. Fine, thank you"

"anytime, kid"
I smiled at the Irish and Scottish duo before walking into the changing room. Both Katie and Kim followed and now the whole team was in the changing room.

I walked in and instantly caught eyes with Leah. I looked away almost immediately and sat myself down next to Viv who was talking to Anna. I placed my head on Viv's shoulder and she looked at me worried.

"are you okay?"

"yeah"

"you've been crying"

"i know"

"is it because of what Beth said?"

"Yeah but it's okay. Beth said sorry, we're okay"

"You and Beth may be okay but you and her aren't"
Viv said looking in Leah's direction.

"Yeah, i know"

"maybe it's time to talk"

"i can't Viv"

"Soph. You're stronger than you think"

"i really do love you"

"i know you do and i love you too. Whatever happens you've got me"

"wait and me!!"
Anna said. Me and Viv both laughed.

"and Anna. You've got me and Anna"

"i guess"

Training came and gone. We weren't to leave yet though because we were to do recovery.

Training was hard. Leah was laughing and enjoying herself which is good because she deserves to be happy but i was trying not to break down in-front of the entire team. Me and my girlfriend locked eyes multiple times but it didn't last. She would either break the eye contact or i would. I only broke it so i didn't begin to cry. I can't cry. Not in-front of everyone, including Jonas. No way.

After training everyone was in the gym but i had forgotten my water so i went back to the changing room to get that but, Leah was also in the changing room. She was taking her boots off. I looked at her before trying to find my water but i couldn't find it.

"looking for this?"
Leah said holding my water in the air. I walked over and took it off her, trying not to make eye contact.

"Yeah. Thanks"
I began to walk towards the door but Leah stopped me.

"hey! wait!"
I stopped. Turned around and looked right at her.
