Well, tomorrow we play Spain. Today we train. Right now, i'm on the phone with my agent while the rest of the team enjoys breakfast.

Agent
"Shall i run over the terms one last time?"
My agent asked.

"Yeah. That'd be great"

"Okay. Barca want to secure your services for the foreseeable future for a number of key reasons. One being your performances so far this season. Barcelona didn't expect you to adapt as well and as quickly as you have and they are blown away by the level of consistency and maturity in your performances. Another reason is your partnership with Putellas. Signing you was a big risk for not only you but for Barca too. This move could have ended up not working. I mean they brought in a young, English girl who had never left London and didn't speak the tiniest bit of Spanish. Housing you with Putellas and Hansen was mainly because Alexia is captain and Hansen speaks English but you yet again adapted to the culture really well and the players love you to pieces. You and Putellas on the pitch are unplayable so after securing her services for another three years they want to tie you down too. Right now, you and Putellas are seen as the future of Barca. They want to build around you guys."
I smiled at this. This club really does believe in me.

"So. What's the answer then? Move on in two years? Wait a little? Extend now?"

"I want to extend now. Barca is my club now. My home and my people are there. I want this. That's where i want to be. My future is with Barca"

"Fantastic. I'll let them know right away. They also want to get this done right away so when you travel back home that will be the first thing on your agenda"

"Great. Tell them i can't wait"

"Will do. We'll speak soon, Sophie"

"Wait-"

"Yeah. Everything okay?"
Me and Viv have the same agent.

"Yeah i was just wondering about Viv. I know you say that you can't tell me stuff but this stays between me and you as i know you tell her stuff because she's nosey. What offers has she got?"
I heard my agent chuckle.

"Alright but it stays between me and you and this is only because i do tell Viv about you and she is indeed very nosey"
I laughed.

"She's got a few offers. She received some from the NWSL but turned them down immediately. She has a three year contract extension on the table for Arsenal. Chelsea, Man City and Man United are the clubs in the WSL that are interested but only Chelsea have submitted an offer which is a two year deal. Lyon and PSG have put offers on the table. PSG are offering a one year deal with the option to add a year while Lyon are offering a two year deal. Wolfsburg are offering a three year deal and finally the one you probably want to know most is Barcelona. Barcelona are seriously interested in Viv and they know that you being at the club improves their chances. They're offering her a three year deal. She has a lot of offers Sophie. I mean the Lyon one, she could reunite with Daan. The Wolfsburg one, she could reunite with Jill. And the Barca one, she could reunite with You and Lieke."

"What's she leaning towards?"

"I can't tell you what club but she's leaning towards an exit. A club that isn't in England is what she wants"

"What about Lisa?"

"She's got an offer from West ham permanently and some clubs in spain are showing interest as well"

"Thank you"

"Your welcome. Have a good day"

"Yeah. You too"

I'm so excited to extend. I'm even more excited to tell my teammates after the game tomorrow.
