I looked at Leah who looked like she was about to punch Ellie. Both Georgia and Keira were aware of the situation, they were trying to distract Leah. I was about to answer Ellie but before i could i seen two faces i never wanted to see again.

I was looking into the crowd and i swear i saw my parents. I wasn't sure of it so i looked away before looking back and i saw them again. Both my mum and dad looked right at me with slight smirks on their faces. No, No, Not here, Not now.

I felt my body tense up and i felt my eyes get heavy. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't see or think straight....

"Sophie! Sophie, are you alright?"
I heard someone say. I think it was Ellie but i couldn't be sure. I was panicking. I was freaking out.

Without any hesitation i turned around and ran, i ran down the tunnel and into the changing room without looking back. I ran in and no one else, thankfully was in. Everyone was still out on the pitch. As soon as i got in the changing room, i fell to the floor. I sat with my back against the wall and my knees up against my chest. I had my face in my knees and i was crying my absolute heart out.

I was alone for what felt like forever but i couldn't do it. I didn't want to be alone so i got up using all the strength i had and opened the changing room door. I could see everyone as they were walking down the tunnel but right now i need Leah. I used the remaining energy i had and yelled for her.

"Leah"

"Leah... Please"

"Leah... I need you"

"Sophie, Baby i'm coming"
I felt relief hearing Leah's voice and felt more at ease when she came running towards me. Leah instantly picked me up and threw me over her shoulder. I knew and she knew she had to take me somewhere private or i wouldn't tell her what was wrong.

Leah walked by our teammates for both club and country and they all looked worried. Especially Viv, Keira, Ellie and Georgia. Even Jonas looked concerned for me but after we passed the crowd of players we found a quite, empty room and went in it. Leah sat down and placed me on her lap. She cradled me like a baby. She calmed me down before she even began to speak.

"it's just you and me, my love. Take your time. I've got you, okay? I've got you. You're okay. You're safe now. I'm here. I'll always be here"

"i- it's them. They're here Leah. They're here"

"Who's here, Baby, who's here?"

"My- My- My parents. My mum and My dad. They're here. That's why i ran off, i saw them. They looked at me. They're here Leah. I'm scared"

"Hey! Look at me! I won't let them anywhere near you ever again. I'm with you. I've got you and i'll never let you go. I'll protect you. I'll protect you with my life, Sophie Roberts. They cruel, horrible people will never, ever touch you again. I won't let them. I'll fight tooth and nail to protect you and make sure you're safe and i promise you that"

"i love you"
I said, lightly and un energetically.

"Look at what you did today. You made everyone so proud. I'm beyond proud of you so don't let those horrible people ruin your night. I'll protect you. I'll keep you safe. I'll stay with you in the changing room and i'll walk with you to the bus. I'll sit with you on the bus and i'll take you home with me tonight. I'll hold you tightly on the bus and when we get home. I won't let go"

"promise?"

"I promise for as long as i live. I'll always fight for you. I'll fight for us and i'll protect you with everything i have. Sophie, i don't know what i would do if anything happened to you. I told you and i'll tell you again, i'll fight tooth and nail to protect you. I love you. Always and Forever my love. Always and Forever.
I didn't know what to say so in that moment i pulled Leah closer and kissed her. The kiss got a little heated but we both stopped.
