We arrived at a local cafe. We got our coffee and sat down.
The journey there was quite. Neither of us knew what to say so we sat in comfortable silence until we arrived and sat down in the cafe.

"what did you say in your podcast?"
I asked, breaking the silence.

"I was asked if i was single or taken and i said single. The interviewer then asked about you and i said we aren't together anymore. I didn't want to say that but i couldn't lie to them or myself"

"Yeah i get that"

"i'm so sorry"

"Leah stop apologising. I've forgiven you"

"you're too forgiving"

"Leah i've told you that you're my person, nothing has changed that and i'm not sure anything ever will. It hurt and i'm not going to sit here and tell you it didn't because it did. It hurt like hell but you explained yourself and you apologised. There's not much more you can do. I love you Leah. I love you so much"

"I love you so much Soph. You've got a good heart"

"complimenting me already are we?"

"shut up"

"alright, alright"

I took a picture of our coffee cups next to each other and i posted it on my story.

She didn't tag me either. The fans who are invested in our relationship may put the pieces together but not everyone will.

"excited for the game tomorrow?"

"Yeah, i'm hoping for some minutes, i want to prove my worth to Jonas"

"i'm sure you will. You've trained well this week. He would be stupid not to play you"

"It won't be an easy game though"

"Yeah, Villa are a tough side to play against"

"Hannah is hard to score against"

"well that's her job"

"i'm aware but still"

"how have you been anyway? How's it been living with Viv and Lisa?"

"Good, really good. I love them so much and they're so cute. How have you been finding it?"

"Lonely at times but i've been coping"

"Yeah, i'm the same. It's not the same living with them"

Our conversation was cut short as a young fan approached our table.

"can- can i please get a picture?"

"of course you can. What's your name?"

"Grace"

"It's nice to meet you Grace"
Leah said. I smiled at Leah before standing next to the young fan. Leah stood at the other side of her and the young girls mum took a photo of us.

"thank you so much. Sorry for interrupting your coffee"
her mum said.

"don't worry about it honestly. The pleasure was all ours"
I smiled as they walked out of the cafe.

"that was cute"
Leah said.

"Yeah, i didn't know you were that good with kids"

"i would say the same to you but you just love being asked to take a photo with someone"
