Extra: Happy Birthday Ryuko!

It was a warm Autumn evening that Ryuko and Tatsumi were having a nice date at an underground jazz bar. Ryuko was currently drinking a cocktail, non-alcoholic, while Tatsumi did the same.

Ryuko: Woah, this tastes really good! Hey Tatsumi, where'd you learn about this place?

Tatsumi: A friend of mine told me about this place while I was staying here. I thought I'd be a good place to take you one day.

Ryuko: Well look at you being all romantic. Didn't think you had it in ya'.

Tatsumi: You should know that I'm full of surprises by this point.

Ryuko: Don't worry, you proved that to me way too many times to count.

Tatsumi: Wanna see another surprise I have for you?

Ryuko: Sure.

Tatsumi: Follow me... After I'm done with this drink.

They continue their date before Tatsumi walked her back to a house, a very dark house.

Ryuko: Tatsumi, why are we right now?

She looks to the right to see that Tatsumi was no longer there.

Ryuko: Wha-! Oh yeah, I keep forgetting he does that sometimes. Wait does he know? Nah, I never told him about it so there's no way. It's gotta be something for Halloween, yeah... That doesn't make this better.

Ryuko slowly walks through the dark building, looking for a light switch while calling for someone.

Ryuko: Tatsumi! Anyone! Hello! If something jumps out at me, it's getting punched in the face! You've been warned so there's no complaining!

Ryuko walks towards a wall and finally finds her light switch, she quickly flips it on to see everyone she's ever met jump from out of nowhere.

All: HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYUKO!!!

Ryuko looked out, shocked at what she's saying when mako brings a cake over to her.

Mako: Her you go Ryuko! Here's to 18 years of being awesome!

Ryuko: H-How did you guys know that it'd be my birthday today.

Tatsumi: I don't know Ryuko, if only there were someone who might've been there to see you're birthday.

Ryuko: S-SIS!!!

Satsuki chuckles for a bit before responding.

Satsuki: Of course I remember your birthday. It's an elder sibling's duty to know after all.

Tatsumi: She told me about a month ago and ever since then we've been planning on how to surprise you. I was the one who decided to make it kind of creepy to throw you off.

Satsuki: I rented out the building so that we could stay here to have this party.

Mako: And I invited everyone I could!

Ryuko: C'mon guys you didn't have to do all of this for me.

Senketsu was sitting firmly on Satsuki's neck.

Senketsu: But we chose to do it anyway because that's how much all of us love you Ryuko.

Sukuyo comes back with a cake in her hands.

Sukuyo: Yup, and here's you're birthday cake! Tatsumi and I made it ourselves with a little help from Lady Satsuki so dig in!

Ryuko: Thanks, ma'am.

Tatsumi: Cakes aren't really my specialty so, I'm not sure if it's going to be th-

Ryuko already takes her first slice.

Tatsumi: Well okay then.

Ryuko: It tastes pretty damn good!

Satsuki: As expected of one of my cakes.

Mako: Holy cow Lady Satsuki, I didn't know you could bake.

Sanageyama: She... She tries.

Satsuki: And what is THAT supposed to mean Sanageyama.

Sanageyama: Nothing Lady Satsuki.

Tatsumi goes over and whispers to Ryuko.

Tatsumi: She's been practicing with me and Mako's mom for about a month now. You have no idea how many cakes she's ruined at this point.

Ryuko hides a giggle.

Ryuko: I'm just glad that you all went out of your way to do this for me. I mean I would've been fine with a movie and some snacks.

Tatsumi: Who said that we won't be doing that later anyway. Now that Satsuki got Mako's family a better house, we can do tons of different stuff now.

Mako: Yup. We got TVs, a training room, clean water, the works! And it's all thanks to you two.

Satsuki: It's the least I could do, you too were a part of this Mankanshoku so I had to repay you as well.

Ryuko: Thanks so much, you guys.

Ryuko and the rest had a great time partying, Tatsumi and Sanageyama had a croquette eating contest that Tatsumi won with relative ease. Nonon orchestrated many different songs for the celebration while Gamagoori tried to make sure no alcohol was snuck into the building before being pulled in to dance by Mako. All this while Satsuki and Ryuko looked on at the chaos that was unfolding in front of them.

Satsuki: So. How was it? You're birthday party I mean.

Ryuko: Couldn't have asked for much more. Thank you, sis.

Satsuki: You should thank Tatsumi and Mako. They are the ones who really helped plan this out. I only bought the building and made the cake.

Ryuko: More than enough for me. Seeing stuff like this. It really makes me excited for the future, and what it has in store for all of us.

Senketsu: There's only one way to find out is there?

Ryuko: Yeah, you're right!

Ryuko and Satsuki join the rest of the gang in celebration as they partied until early morning, finally taking back the break that they all deserved.
