The two thieves, now with their persona at the ready, stared the mad king down. Nothing but rage in their hearts.

Kamoshida: *Afraid* Sakamoto!? How in the hell did you manage to get up so quickly!?

Mona ran up to Ryuji and Panther, with his persona ready as well.

Mona: As long as I'm here, these guys won't have to worry about any injures. Especially ones from a low life like you!

Kamoshida: Those things, they're like before but, they were nowhere near this powerful!

Panther: We've grown after we defeated you last year Kamoshida. Right now, we're way above anything you can possibly dream off.

Ann looks to her persona, before looking back at the king.

Panther: Light him up, Carmen!

Carmen sends a seemingly endless wave of Agidynes at Kamoshida and that ends up burning him. Ryuji soon follows suit and starts throwing out Ziodynes like nothing.

Skull: Blast him away, Captain Kidd!

Their attacks send him back even further. The other thieves see a chance as they start firing everything, they have at him. Kamoshida gets pushed back but eventually swipes away all of the attacks in a fit of blind rage. 

Kamoshida: Little bastards!

He tries to throw his knife at Ryuji again, but his arm gets caught in Panther's whip, leaving Skull just enough time to crack him over the head with his pipe.

Kamoshida: Ahhh! *distorted* I WON'T LOSE TO YOU BRATS AGAIN!!!

His eyes turn into a dark shade of yellow as the dark smoke starts to spread through the entire castle, blinding almost everyone.

Skull: The hell?! Where's all this smoke coming from?!

Panther: Quit hiding and fight us you coward!!!

Tatsumi: Shit this is bad. Whatever this smoke is, it's sealing Kamoshida's presence entirely, I can't sense him.

Joker: Nothing here either.

They got no response, it felt as though the entire castle was empty. Ryuko looked around for Tatsumi, trying to remember where he was last.

Senketsu: It looks like Tatsumi has concealed his presence as well. This is a very dangerous place to be in right now, so I'll act a link for both of you. For now, make sure that Makoto and the rest are okay.  

Ryuko nods as she goes to search for the rest of the group. They hear a what sounds like struggling near the treasure room where the non-persona users were gathered. Followed by screams of about three or four. 

Skull: The hell?

Panther: Are you guys, okay?!

Joker: Mona?! What's going on?! Tell me!

Mona: Come, ZORO!

Morgana used his persona to clear away all of the smoke, much to everyone's delight. That was until they looked to see that some people had some black markings all over their body and were collapsed on the ground. Namely, Haru, Sumire, and Futaba. Kamoshida was still missing.
