Y/n POV

I woke up kind of tired. I shook it off and got dressed quickly. I threw on some loose jeansand an oversized white t-shirt. I put my P.F Flyers on and put my hair up in a ponytail. I put my Dodgers hat on and ran downstairs.

I ran out the front door and remembered....

This isn't my home..I moved...

Instead of running to the sandlot to play baseball all day like I had planned, I walked down town. I guess I could explore the town a little since I'd be living here for who knows how long.

.

I reached a little shop at the end of the strip. I looked up at the sign.

HomeRun HomeStore

That's an odd name for a store. I walked inside and was engulfed in the smell of baseball bats. It's not a bad smell but it's not a smell that should fill a room.

I walked around the store, admiring the different baseballs, bats, hats, gloves, jerseys, etc. It was different than the sports stores in Utah.

Very different.

I guess that makes sense, since this isn't Utah...it's Arizona.

.

I decided to go back home. Maybe I could call Yeah-yeah.

Pfft. Like he'd answer. He's probably mad at me for leaving. I wouldn't blame him. I'm mad at myself for leaving. He was supposed to be my best friend forever.

How are we supposed to be best friends when I'm not ever there..?

Man, I miss him so much...I hope he misses me too..
