Yeah-yeah's POV

I walked into the house after being at the sandlot almost all day.

"Hey honey" my mom greeted me as I sat down on the couch.

"Hey ma" I replied, turning on the tv. "Oh by the way Y/n tried to call you earlier." My mom informed me. "Really!?" I yelled. "Yes she-" before my mom could finish, I had ran upstairs to the phone.

I dialed Y/n's number as quickly as I possibly could.

The phone rang for a fee minutes then the line went dead.

She declined my call....

Why...?

What did I do...?

"Mom!" I yelled down to her, choking back tears. "Yes dear?" She called back. "Y/n declined my call.." I told her as I reached the bottom of the stairs.

I started walking over to her while tears started slowing falling from my eyes.

I guess my mom noticed, because she pulled me into a hug.

"Oh honey...it'll be alright" she said, trying to cheer me up.

It wasn't working.

"Maybe she's busy" she reassured me.

She went back to the kitchen so I went back up to my room.

Maybe I'll try and call her again.

I though to myself.

I dialed her number once more, hoping for her to pick up this time.

The phone rang for a minute and someone answered.

"Hello?"

"Uh-hi is um-Y/n there?"

"Yes, one second"

A few seconds later the phone was picked up again.

"Hello?"

It's her...it's really her!!

"Y/n?"

"Yes?"

"It's me...Yeah-yeah.."

"Really!?"

"Yeah yeah it is!"

"Oh my gosh I haven't heard your voice in months!"

We talked for hours until Benny called us all back to the sandlot.

I'm just glad I got to talk to her for a while
