Chapter 34: mask

Villaina think for a long time and finally decided to be brave and ask him,so when the night comes the really tired Darko came,

While eating Villaina tried to be as normal as she can be,

So he didnt noticed something amiss.

Villaina finally ask him after eating

"Is there something going on with the country?"

Darko knit his eyebrows and shook his head

"Then you have a lot of works?you seems really tired"

Darko sigh and answer

"Not that much,but i am.currently doing something important"

Villaina waited but he didnt continue so she ask

"This important thing cant be said to me?"

Darko massage his temple and answer tiredly

"Its not that cant be said to you but currently cant be"

She look down and answer casually

"Ooh?is that why you keep going out the palace?"

"Villaina are you thinking too much again?"

He snapped out and regret it instantly so he stood up to apologize but Villaina is faster

"I am if you think that way!i am sorry if you feel that i was out of the line,i didnt mean that"

Darko was taken aback and all his tiredness flew over when he saw the slight change in Villaina's eyes

"Sorry my Vivi!it was me just now!i didnt mean that"

Villaina let him hug her and nodded,but Darko knows that this is not enough so he explain again

"I swear that once this is over i will tell you directly okay?please forgive me this time,this will not gonna happen again okay?"

Villaina smile and nod her head while hugging him back.

Darko thought that he only needs a little more time,and finay he can give her the surprise that he was preparing for quite a while now!

But he didnt know in a person like Villaina who is very insecure and likes to think too much,the seed of doubt is already sprouting and this is faster than anything else

So he was the one who will be surprised first.

After that night,everything seems the same,but not for Darko,

He can feel that something is off with his wife,but he cannot point it out,

He is observing her more but she seems the same,but there is always uneasyness in his heart,

But his plan can no longer wait,so he can only wait until everything is settled

Everytime she and Darko is alone together she is trying too hard too not think too much,

But it was really hard,she wants to stay the same around him,but whenever she is alone she cant help herself from crying,

Everyday everytime he go back very tired her heart felt like slowly cracking,specially,him coming back tired but in a very happy mood,

Her heart is in pain!

But only she knew about it,whenever she go see her parents and brother she will still laugh happily,

Whenever she is with her friends,she will joke around,

Whenever she is outside,she is socializing well,

Whenever she is with him she will not let him feel anything amiss.

Two weeks this is her life,to pretend,to put a mask on her face so no one will see,

But this mask cracked when she saw personally the king go out the pala00ce and enter a small villa in subtle manner,

Villaina stay for two hours and he didnt comeback,

Following him secretly is her idea for a long time now,but her cowardice always win,

But she didnt know what she took so she become a little braver,

So even is she saw him personally she will never dare to ask right?

Biting her lips,and ask the coachmen to drive,

That night, Darko was startled when he saw the extremely seductive Villaina,

So dinner was again ignore and he feasted on Villaina instead,

He didnt know what happen why she gave him a very pleasant surprise but this make him fully recover from all the fatigue from those days!

When Villaina woke up and notice that the space beside her is empty she smiled bitterly

She thought that doing it a lot of times will make him stay in the bed with her but in end the she was wrong!

Maybe she really dont have a power to make him stay by her side?

That day she didnt go out and just stay inside her room and do nothing

So when Darko came he ask in a fluster manner

"You okay?any discomfort?should i call for the doctor now?"

Villaina shook her head and blushed while answering

"I am fine!maybe just too tired!"

Darko remember the event last night,and seeing how shy she is acting now he.finally understand

"Hehe is my Vivi shy now?it was you who become so passionate that until now my waist is aching!"

Villaina cover herself and made a muffle sound

"You shut up!i'll sleep more!dont disturb me!"

Darko laugh happily and let her rest,anyway he was really out of control last night so.

When he lay beside her,she turn her back at him but he scoop her body and cover with his,

"My Vivi i will have to leave tomorow"

Villaina slightly stiffen and ask

"Until when?"

Darko kiss her hair and answer

"Only 2 weeks,just have to do something important!"

"Is it dangerous?"

She ask worriedly so Drako assure her

"No!no danger at all!dont worry okay?"

Villaina nodded and add

"How many people will go?"

Darko stiffen for a bit but adjust very fast and answer whithout a pause

"Me and Gavin,it is just for check up!"

Villaina's eyes is empty but her voice didnt change

"Then you be careful okay?eat well and sleep well,if there is danger remember that your life is more important"

Darko hug her tighter and murmur

"I will miss you badly,but dont worry after this i will have a long vacation so i can accompany you"

Villaina didnt answer anymore,noticing that she fell asleep he laugh feeling helpless.
