After Eve signed some paper and took an oath similar to that of a queens oath to protect and care for her country, they all got to head back to the home that Eve grew up in.

The house, as Eve had told Amelia on their way there, was one that only Santa and their immediate family had the privilege to live in.

"Sought of like the Whitehouse in America?" Amelia had asked with wonder in her wide eyes as Eve chuckled and agreed.

"But it's a little more magical than that." She said with a wink as Amelia blushed bright red.

During their mission to find that document Amelia hadn't really had a chance to actually look at the home that Eve had grown up in, but when she did she regarding it in awe.

The house was huge. In-fact Amelia would have called it more of a mansion. It was wider and longer than any house she'd ever seen in real life, and it had a sort of story-book style too it with brown wooden cladding and white cottage-like walls. The windows where adorned with flower boxes and the door was carved in an intricate pattern that reminded Amelia of the carvings from the old Santa Trails.

She got the feeling this house was as old as Christmas, but it didn't seam run down at all.

Most of all, she couldn't help but to feel as sense of warmth from the dwelling, a sense of safety, as if she'd been there before when she hadn't.

"Amazing isn't it?" Eve suddenly asked as she walked up to the door and smiled when it opened for her of its own accord.

"It's..." Amelia couldn't seam to find the words as she gingerly walked up to the door. When she got there though, she bit her lip as she remembered what Eve had said about the home.

'Only Santa and their immediate family members have the privilege of living here.'

When Eve realised that Amelia wasn't following her and Livie into the house, she turned back to find her looking at the house in... trepidation?

"Amelia, what's wrong?" Eve asked in concern as she walked back up to her.

"I-I've already intruded too much. I don't want to cause anyone trouble. Besides, only your immediate family can stay here so..."

Eve laughed a little at that as she gently lifted up the girls chin and smiled at her.

"Amelia, you are family." She said softly, her voice barley above a whisper as she looked into her eyes.

"Please, I'd love it if you stayed with me for as long as you wish." She added, smiling when Amelia's cheeks coloured red once again.

Eve offered her her hand and when Amelia gingerly took it, she grinned as they walked into the home.

Eve helped Amelia to take off her coat like the gentle woman she was and placed it on the coat rack, she turned back towards Amelia and was just about to suggest that she give her a tour of her home when some fairies flew up to her.

"Eve, there is much to discuss." They said and Eve knew that as much as she wanted to spend time with Amelia, she really shouldn't ignore her duties either.

"Ah... sure, yeah." She said as she gave Amelia an apologetic look.

"Later." She promised giving her hand a squeeze before she followed the fairies towards her fathers old office, feeling a pang in her heart at the thought of him.

When Amelia had lost sight of her friend d as the door to her office closed, Livie turned to her with a grin.

"Alright time to give you the grand tour." She announced as she began to show her around the home.

"And this is-" Livie began to say, but when Amelia yawned and Livie realised just how tired they both where, Livie after casting so many large spells and Amelia after, well, after everything, she sighed with a soft smile.

"We're both clearly exhausted." She said.

"Why don't we conclude the tour for now and I'll show you to your room." She said as Amelia nodded and followed the fairies directions as she sat exhaustedly on her shoulder.

When they reached Amelia's new room, Amelia opened the door and gasped at what greeted her.

It was a large room that had its own bathroom on-suite. The walls where an adorable light pink and the roof a picture of puffy white clouds that appeared to be actually moving as if it where the real sky!

Her double bed had a princess-like canopy that fell from the roof and curtained around it, and waiting for her on the bed was a new set of pyjamas that where made of a soft light-pink velvet and lace.

It was beautiful. Unlike anything Amelia had ever slept in before and she couldn't help but to think that she certainly didn't deserve such splendour and grace.

"I'll take that as you like it?" Livie asked as Amelia gaped at the room in shock.

"I- but this is too much. You didn't have to go to so much trouble for me." She said in astonishment as the fairy laughed and shrugged.

"Eve wanted to make sure you'd be comfortable. Now I'm going to go rest now as well, but if you need anything don't be afraid to ask anyone. All the fairies are lovely around here I promise." Livie said with a stretch and a yawn as she flew out of the room and Amelia bud her goodnight before softly closing the door behind her.

Amelia bit her lip to try and curb her smile as she walked up to the bed, picked up her new pjs and quickly got changed into them, replacing her bow-cladded hair ties with the soft pink ones Eve had provided and re-doing her plaits so they where no longer as messy.

She gave a large yawn as she pulled back the covers and climbed into the softest bed she'd ever felt, closing her eyes as she began to drift off to sleep.
