It didn't take long before Amelia began to toss and turn in her sleep. Her dreams had turned into the reoccurring nightmare she'd had ever since Eve had disappeared from her life.

She woke up with a start when the nightmare ended at Amelia never getting to see her friend again as her tears began to make her eyes sting.

She rubbed at them as she sniffled and tried to take deep breaths to stop the panic attack from happening. But she knew it wouldn't much help. The only thing that ever seemed to help much when this happened was distraction.

So Amelia got up, put her fluffy boots back on and her pjs little velvet coat they had come with, and made her way out of her room.

She sniffled again as she hugged her middle with her arms and began to wonder around the gigantic home.

Where she was going, she honestly had no idea, but wandering had to be better than going back to her nightmares.

After a little while of walking and admiring the hallways of the home, Amelia was about to turn back towards her room when she realised that she'd accidentally managed to get a little turned around. Ok, maybe a lot.

Amelia looked around her in worry, she honestly had no idea how to get back, so she did the next best thing she could think of and gingerly opened a large door that was in front of her, hoping that there might be a fairy whom could point the way back for her as she did.

When she realised however, just what was behind the door, her mouth dropped open in wonder.

It was tons of fairies in beautiful flowing dresses that where dancing around a literal ballroom. It was as if she'd stepped into a fairytale and Amelia couldn't help but to smile a little at the beauty of it all.

"Hello!" One of the female fairies greeted as she flew elegantly up to her.

"Hello. I'm so sorry for intruding I... got a little lost." She admitted and the fairy giggled.

"That's alright, would you like to join us?" She asked as Amelia blushed a little.

"Oh b-but I can't fly." She said as she gestured to the fairies that where dancing in the air as they flew. Amelia certainly wasn't dressed for a fairy ball, not that she'd ever thought she'd need to be, but when the fairy grinned as she tugged on her finger for Amelia to follow her, she couldn't help but to follow along.

After all, she didn't want to be rude.

"Now you can!" The excitable fairy exclaimed as she waved her hands at her and the magical sparkles that came from them landed on Amelia, suddenly lifting her up above the floor as she gave a little squeak of surprise.

"W-What?" She said as she looked at the floor getting further away from her in alarm.

But when she stopped going higher and began to instead float in place right where the fairies all where, she couldn't help but to giggle.

She was flying! She was actually flying!

"Cmon!" One of the fairy's called.

"It's like this." She said as she began to show her their dance and the lovely instrumental music grew louder.

Amelia giggled as she began to copy her, dancing and twirling around the air as she had once learned to do in the few ballet classes she'd had as a child.

When Eve finally finished her lengthy discussion with the fairies that helped the Santa in charge to deal with important matters of the pole, she was exhausted. But that didn't stop her from wanting to see the girl she'd been waiting to see for so long. And yes of course, she technically had already seen her. But since they'd met again they'd been so busy saving Christmas that they hadn't had much time alone together, and time alone with Amelia was something that Eve needed right than.
