"So you're mad because I came crashing into your apartment...?"
"No. I'm mad because you didn't come crashing into my arms, cutie."

A vampire leader vs a beautiful young adult. She meets him, he m...
On a cloudy afternoon, Kass was walking back from the cafe after a short conversation. Even though her clumsiness wasn't cleared up, she'd just gotten her first paycheck. She'd already spent it on utilities for her house, but had some money left and didn't know what to spend it on before she started saving up again.
"I do want to spend on something for myself..." She thought, "but I feel like it'll be gone the moment I use it, and it wouldn't be worth the money. What should I do?"
She continued to walk in thought until she saw a bunch of pastries lined up in a window. The fragrance was so sweet, you could smell it through the closed glass.
Kassie stared at the sweets until her eyes started to shine, and she got an idea.
"Y'know, Serena did help me out a lot during the past few weeks...so maybe I should buy these as a thanks!"
However, she groaned in frustration. "But...this is my GODDESS we're talking about. What if she likes certain types of sweets? What if she doesn't want any sweets at all??"
Kassie sighed, walked away from the entrance, stopped, paused to look back at the entrance, then proceeded to walk back into the store.
"It totally wouldn't hurt to try, if it means I get to see her!"
After a few transactions, Kassie walked out of the store, beaming with a box of cupcakes in her hands.

"I got the best ones I could find. Only the best. S-She'll be sure to like them...I hope."
A fraction of her thoughts were overshadowed by bad scenarios that Kassie thought might happen. Because she's so clumsy, she'd probably drop the box on the way, and not have any other way to find replacements. Maybe Serena didn't want her over.
As nice as she is, however, Serena gave Kassie her address incase she needed anything. Remembering how that happened, all the bad thoughts went away and Kassie was stuck on daydreaming about Serena.
"I can't wait to see the look on her face when I give these to her! Her smile...haah...she'll be so happy..."
Kass had daydreamed so much that she didn't pay attention to where she was walking, and wondered into the road. She didn't realize she was about to get hit by car until she heard a loud "WATCH OUT!" near her.
Snapping back to reality, she saw the car heading towards her at full speed and realized it was too late to move. However, she was quickly snatched back onto the sidewalk by someone else, but she ended up dropping the box of cupcakes in the process.
The person who had saved her was Ash. Kassie didn't know him, because Serena didn't mention him around her. At least, not yet.
"Good grief," Ash sighed. "that car could've sent you flying. Are you alright?"
