They all started eating and chit-chatting with each other. The meal was tasty, the company was good.
Sienna realized she had a lot in common with Timothée, they liked the same movies, the same series, the same food, it was a pleasant surprise to her. And although he was a celebrity with millions of fans, he was humble and easy to talk to.
Everything she had heard about him from random people, or random talk shows was true, he had a body filled with positivity, kindness and charm."Yes, my parents own a law firm! It'll be mine one day! I keep asking Sienna to come work with me!" Evan and the girl's father started a conversation.
"Sounds good!" Dan exclaimed.
"It doesn't sound good! I'm not a secretary... I'd mess up all the time.." Sienna rolled her eyes.
"You'll eventually learn how to properly do the job! It'll offer you a way higher lever of security, than painting does.." her boyfriend talked.
"You paint?" Timothée asked impressed.
"Yes!!! I'm a painter!"
"That's so cool! Arts in general are great to express yourself!"
"Yes, I agree! I love painting! It makes me feel like I have the power to create anything I want... Cause I literally only need a canvas, a couple of paints and some brushes, and then boom... Suddenly I'm in Barcelona, or a fantasy place... Or I can stare at the people I love when they're on my canvases, without looking at pictures of theirs. It's like I'm the camera, I'm like a machine that can do anything!" the girl spoke with excitement.
"I can tell you really love it! I can see the sparks in your eyes!" he noticed, she quickly looked down to stop herself from blushing.
"Painting is a hobby though.. It's not a job!" Evan joined in their conversation.
"Sandro Botticelli, Vincent Van Gough, Frida Kahlo, Claude Monet.. And so many others were just painters! And pretty successful ones!
The world needs the artists, they're the ones who can make us see the world from a new perspective.
Their purpose is not to make us speed up and work as faster as possible, their purpose is to slow everything down and help us notice the beauty that is already around us, but we're too busy to notice..
Artists can fit a million words in a painting and we should be more grateful for them!" Timothée spoke."Thank you! I wish I had recorded this or something, it'd help me focus on my paintings more, and forget about the people who say art is not really a profession.." Sienna talked loudly.
"Anyway... We'll continue this conversation in private!" Evan mumbled.
"Who's ready for dessert???" Harper tried to change the subject and they all put their hands in the air, except for Evan.
"The dessert is coming!!!" she quickly went to the kitchen."Timothée, can you sign the gifts I got for my friends, please? They'll be super happy!" Riley asked.
"Definitely!"
"Thank you so much, just give me a second to go get them!" she exclaimed and he nodded.
"So, where did you travel from, if you don't mind me asking?" the actor asked Sienna.
"Oh, we came from Midtown Manhattan!"
"Really? You live in New York? That's awesome!"
"Yes, I moved there right after I finished school! Took painting classes, and then decided to actually stay there! I love New York!"
"Well, thank you, I feel like a proud New Yorker now!.. Nah I'm kidding!" he joked.
"You're actually lucky you're from there... And you're also from France! So you can also enjoy the European experience! But then again you said it yourself, you travel all the time, so you probably have traveled everywhere!"
