Emma's POV (Bet you didn't see that coming did ya)

"Good luck sweetie!" I called.

He turned back and winked. "I don't need luck I am a natural." With that he hung up and I chuckled. That Kyle..

Leo kissed my forehead and smiled. "Make sure you stay in bed." He said sternly.

I rolled my eyes. "I am not a baby Leo. Plus, my arms not even broken." He stared at me and I sighed.

"Alright alright," I kissed him. "Now go, or you'll miss the whole match." He left and I turned on my laptop to answer a few emails and scroll through the tabloids when one picture of me and Ella popped up. When I clicked it, others showed up of us in many other places including the airport when I first brought her here. I smiled and looked at the papers at my desk table.

Was I doing the right thing? What if she didn't agree? It would be a disaster if that happened. I'll have to talk to her about it.

I decided to take a walk to the kitchen and make myself some food when I found Leila, one of my house helps holding a tray of food with juice.

"Ma'am your food." She said.

I smiled and took it and then sat at my dining.

"Leila?" I called.

"Yes ma'am?"

"Could you please help me call Hermione up here?" I asked her. She nodded. Hermione was my personal assistant and second best friend after Jazelle went her own way..

It still pained me to the core knowing I did nothing to help her. I was afraid I was running insane every time I thought about her. All those memories we made.. I would have never guessed we were going to end up like this. Separated. Living completely different lives. I pushed those thoughts aside and decided to call Cassie.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Hey Cassie. How are you?"

"I am good how are you?"

"I am good..I just called to check if Aiden is okay." I said.

"He's more than okay. Him and Layla are practically inseparable. I ship them." She giggled. I laughed too.

"They're adorable, I know. I am sure he's gonna be asking for more sleepovers in the future. Thank you for taking care of him." I said.

"No problem sweetie. What are friends for?" We talked for a while before I decided to hung up.

After a few more minutes of silence in the house, the doorbell sounded and I answered it.

Opening the door, I found no one. What? How? I huffed. Maybe it was one of the workers. Dave was always quite naughty. Before I closed the door, I saw an envelope. I picked it up and closed the door.

Walking towards the dining, I opened the envelope. It was addressed to no one.

Dear sweetheart niece,
You are such a fool. Did you think running away from California would keep you away from me? Your actions amuse me. I am the most powerful criminal in Roseville. You can't just hide from me. I have a record to make and I will not allow you to shun me. I will get you and I will make you scream.
I just thought you should be warned. Because I am nice like that. You can't escape me, Ella
Your favorite uncle,
TG

My breath caught in my throat. TG? Who is he? And why is he threatening my daughter? Is there something Ella didn't tell me? Should I ask her?

I was distracted from my thoughts when I heard laughter.

"Who won? Who's awesome? This guy." Kyle said.

I quickly hid the letter in my pocket and put on a smile. I hugged Kyle.

"I am guessing you won." I said.

He shrugged. "It was teamwork. But yeah, my awesomeness contributed a ton to that."

"Get over yourself Ky." Ella chuckled. Tristan laughed and snaked his arm around her waist.

I eyed them and Ella's eyes widened and she whispered something in Tristan's ear. He smirked and kissed her forehead. My inner fan girl broke out.

"Are you two dating?" I squealed.

"Yap." Tristan answered.

"Since when?" My huge smile didn't leave my face.

"Since today." Ella smiled. I hugged her. I had never seen her so happy and it brought so much joy to my heart. She has been through a whole lot and she deserves all the happiness in the world.

I playfully glared at Tristan. "If you break her heart, I will make sure you end up in hospital beyond repair."

"I second that." Leo said coming towards me.

"And I third that." I heard Audrey from behind us.

"Ava and I will contribute too." Val said and hugged me along with Ava.

"I will do the finishing touches." Kyle laughed.

"No we will!" Ethan and Josh yelled as they fought for the remote in the living room.

"Wow, I feel the love." Tristan rolled his eyes.

I smiled and left to my bedroom. I walked to my balcony and took a deep breath.

"Is there anything wrong sweetie?" Leo asked and hugged me from behind.

"Problem? No." I lied. Why? I don't know.

"You're lying." He said. Damnit!

I sighed and turned to him.
"It's about Ella."

"Hmm? What about Ella?"

I pursed my lips and handed him the letter. As he read it, I could see him visibly get angry.

"Who is TG?" He growled.

"I.. I don't know Leo." I sniffed.

He hugged me. "We'll find out soon. Don't worry so much."

"I know. Should.. should we ask Ella?" I asked.

He sighed hating the idea as well. "As much as I'd hate to, we have to ask her about him."

I nodded. "I have to go cook some dinner. Okay?"

"Do you have to?" He whined.

I chuckled and kissed him.

"Yes now get some rest you workaholic."

With that, I left to go prepare dinner wondering whether I had made the right decision.
