katsuki relished in the undying praise both he and izuku received as they rode into the busy town. he couldn't help but hear the many complements he had revived, many calling him lucky while others said that izuku was lucky to have him.

he couldn't help the way that such great confidence pooled in his chest at this. katsuki smirked proudly as he glanced down at those below. though, soon a heavy gust of a chilly late-autumn breeze came at them, sending him shivering.

izuku noticed this as he wrapped his arms around katsuki's upper waist, pulling him closer. "you look a bit cold." he whispered into the blond's ear softly. katsuki flushed at this before grumbling, "you're so embarrassing." he said as he noticed how many squeals began to erupt from the crowd.

"how come? i just want to show everyone how much i love my kacchan." izuku giggled. katsuki only scoffed before curling into izuku even closer, enjoying the warmth.

"you can let us off here, i want to walk with katsuki a bit." izuku told his driver as they stopped in the populated market town of the village. many both sold and lived here as it was the closest town to the kingdom which meant much more money for tourists.

the driver nodded before stopping the cart. he then rose to open the door for izuku and katsuki, allowing them to step out. many eyes were on them while others attempted to get their attention by offering goods. izuku kindly declined before katsuki suddenly gasped.

"deku, look over there!" katsuki gasped, pointing over to a table. without hesitation, the blond grabbed izuku's wrist, dragging him over to the table he was so utterly enthralled with.

izuku then saw a violet haired girl sitting at the table, her mood a bit more calm rather than the others who cried his name out nonstop.

"what's this?" katsuki asked eagerly, pointing at the table which had a red, almost spiky looking fruit over on it. izuku laughed softly at katsuki's excitement, "that's a dragon fruit, kacchan." he explained.

katsuki's eyes widened at this, it was obvious that this was his first time ever going to a market so large. "you can eat that? it looks like a flame.. i like it." he said, grinning.

"oh? is that so?" izuku hummed, "in that case, i'd like to buy two." he said to the girl, handing her a bag of coins.

"w-woah, this is a lot - dragon fruit doesn't cost this much-!" the violet haired girl attempted to explain. "yeah, i know, but please do keep it, it is my thanks for such peaceful service." izuku explained, nodding.

the girl flicked herself gaze up at him before nodding, accepting the money in a rather bashful manner. she then bagged two of the fruits before handing them off to the king, saying her thanks once more.

"wait? you smell that?" katsuki asked izuku. "hm?" izuku hummed, sniffling the air as well in hopes for smelling what katsuki smelled.

"it smells spicy.. like curry. i like spicy curry a lot, my mother used to cook it for me." katsuki explained. izuku perked up a bit at this, "well let's go find some-"

"already on it!" katsuki said, leaving izuku behind as he walked down the trail way in search of such amazing food. "ah, wait-!" izuku sighed before he saw a red flash in the corner of his eye.

the green haired male then stopped, turning to see it was a table coated in many gems and jewels. "hello my king!" a sing-song voice called. izuku then looked up to see a pink haired girl smiling brightly.

"ah, hello." izuku greeted with a soft smile. "i couldn't help but notice that ring right there.. is it a ruby?" he asked, pointing to the silver ring with a big, round jewel in it. it had a shine like no other, immediately taking izuku's attention.
