G POV

"Nice job hacking into the school's security cameras!" I told Kane as he pulled up some video of his history class in action. When the students entered, our eyes probably turned to an X, which Kane did not notice. The teacher went over some other projects, then played a video. Kane's video, which we acted in. As it played, all three of us loved how horrified the students looked. It was interesting when the students, following Peter, Dan, and Jenny put of the frame. Kane soon closed the video, and we all started laughing. It was uncontrollable until Kane's phone rang.
"There is no way this is NOT related to our film!" Kane remarked as he answered the call, me and L listening in intently.
"Hello?" Kane asked the voice on the end.

"Kane, the headmaster is demanding you come to his office. He wants to talk to you about something. Also, nice job with the video, but did you even look it over before sending it!?" asked an unfamiliar voice on the line, who appeared in a frenzy. Kane would have formulated an answer, but not before L interjected with "Yeah, I am not sure if he looked over the video. It looked pretty great, what could be the problem?"

"There were TWO Murder Drones outside your recording studio!? They knocked the camera over, and placed it back! I cannot believe you did not hear anything?! Wait, just who am I speaking to?"

"Actually, we are Dissasembly Drones, thank you very much. Hope that answered your question!" L remarked in a sort of sarcastic tone before she ended the call. Kane was fine with how they handled the call, and they all agreed that Kane's home was probably in disarray. Then, with a horrified look, G remembered something.

"I nearly forgot! A was looking for you, wondering how you are doing. He probably wants us to return to the spire." G stated, worried. L did not want to leave, but I assured her that I would be alright. They both took off soon after, heading toward the spire.

KANE POV

L and G took off into the sky, and I headed inside. I moved an empty shelf behind the area with the green screen and made sure the door was locked. I packed away the computer, shut off the lighting equipment, and did some cleaning, which consisted of putting a few cables away. I lied down on my makeshift bed, pulled up some covers, and powered off.

A POV

I saw L and G land near the spire and went over to greet them. As I did, I noticed that L and G appeared tired, as if they have been flying for a while.

"Hey L, where were you?" I asked, intent on knowing the truth.

"The snowstorm was pretty dangerous, I waited it out in a building." L replied.

"Alright. Your partition of a worker is in the pod." I stated, taking L into the pod. She had her part of the drone and immediately went to sleep. I and G soon followed, but G did not plan to get into that bunker again. I thought that was odd, and decided to follow them on their next hunt.

The Next Night/A POV

L and G were preparing to head out to hunt, which was my cue to silently follow them. They travelled for some time, taking many turns as if they were heading to a specific destination. L and G soon stopped near a boarded-up store and entered. I shut off my lights to see what they were doing. I was shocked to see them speaking with a worker drone. He appeared to be going through an inbox, which had well over 100 messages now. All three of them were speaking, and I just had to eavesdrop.

"It is ironic, isn't it? The only time everyone wants to be your friend is when you have something good to offer." stated the worker drone, unhappy about the amount of mail he had gotten.

"Yeah, it is. I'm assuming most of these messages are about our cameo in Kane's history project." L stated to G, a deadpan expression on her visor. This clued me into the name of this worker drone: 'Kane'

"Hey, there is one here from... the headmaster of my school!" 'Kane' observed, as he opened it. The email was hard to make out, but it read:
"Dear Kane,

I hope you still check your inbox now. The operator of the colony is requesting your presence immediately. He reportedly says that it is urgent. The details are few, but he wants to use you to make a truce with the Murder Drones.

I am still not done sifting through the report submitted by Dan, Peter, and Jenny, but the results fall towards you causing the incident.

From The Headmaster."

"That sounds ridiculous! This guy wants Kane to head back to the colony when he immediately tells him that he is at fault for a bogus incident!?" G yelled, annoyed at how cold this email was. I had never seen G get even a tiny bit angry before! This worker, Kane, was clearly important to both of them. All three of them started reading through the emails, laughing at the absurdity of some of them.

"How did they even get my email address?! I never told anyone at all!" Kane started, laughing uncontrollably with L and G after reading a message. I decided to wait until L and G headed back to the spire to confront them. It was going to take some time to wait.

Back at the Colony...

???: Where is Kane? He was supposed to be here an hour ago!

?: I do not know. All I know is that he is not at the school, and is probably not in the colony at all.

???: Look, if you want to remain as headmaster, find Kane, and bring him to me by any means necessary. Assemble a search team if you need to!

Headmaster:  ...Alright. I'll do just that. I have the perfect team of three in mind.

In History Class...

"Dan, Peter, and Jenny, please report to the Headmaster's Office. Dan, Peter, and Jenny, to the Headmaster's Office please." rang out a voice on the school intercom. Immediately, the three walked out of class, and reported to the office. They were greeted by the Headmaster, and asked to sit down.

"Are we in trouble or something?" Peter asked, a eternal anger expression on his face.

"No. I have a job for you." stated the Headmaster, a sort of glint present in his eyes.
