Day 17: Slimey comfort

(Ahaha, yes)
(Short because I got distracted, and I needed to post this before 11:59 :'))
(Warning!! There might be some little mature scenes but nothing past that since this book will be smut free! So please proceed with caution)

Dream flipped a book as he felt his mate squirm in his grasp, glancing over, he raised a brow when his mate began to wake up. A small smirk made it's way to his face and then he gently nuzzled his lover. "Rise and shine love~" Dream purred, ah, watching his lover's eyesockets snap open in surprise at his voice was always so amusing. "Wh-WhErE-" The other hissed when pain had hit him everywhere. Dream simply nuzzling the other once more before pulling him closer.

"Slept well~?" Dream hummed as he slowly kissed the back of the other's cervical vertebrae, smirking at the whimper that came from it. "Sh-ShAtTeReD...?!" The other gasped once it finally dawned on him. "Hello Glitchy~!" Dream, or Shattered, cheered happily, or as happily as can be and nuzzled Error more. "Wh-WhAt- WhY aM i-" Error stopped himself and shuddered, looking down, he then lets out a small squeak and curled in on himself once he realized that not only he was naked, but his ecto body was summoned as well. Shattered simply covered the parts that's only meant for his eyes with his tendrils. "Don't you remember darling? You came to me last night!" Shattered was quite delighted when he saw Error shivering like a lost kitten when he opened the door to his home.

The look on Error's teary eyes that practically begged for comfort, to be held and claimed when he looked directly to it... He just couldn't afford to say no! Especially to someone as beloved and amazing as the beautiful glitch!

"O-oH..." Error remembered now, right... He and Nightmare got into a pretty bad fight... He sought for comfort and ended up in Shattered's area... Ah that was his fault for the most part, he wanted to go to Blue's, but he guessed that his silly little crush on the old Dream never left... But... Error then glanced up at Shattered, who simply just held Error closer and gave his skull a small kiss on the forehead. Honestly, Shattered is still Dream, even with the influence of the black apple...

Ah, maybe he could get used to this... After Shattered's tentacles stops being naughty. He lightly slapped it and Shattered couldn't help but laugh. "LeT mE gEt DrEsSeD yOu RoTtEn BaNaNa." Error pouted and the volume of Shattered's laughter doubled at the nickname.

"FuCk..." Error couldn't help but mutter, frowning a bit in worry as he shakily placed  hand on his belly. Eyeing the the little light that's glowing from within. How... How was he supposed to tell Shattered...? How was he... Supposed to tell Nightmare...? His brothers? Blue? He could feel tears start welling up in his eyesockets. Why... Why why why...

If... If he had ended up with a child then that would mean that he subconsciously wanted it but... What about Shattered? Would he still want a child? But why with him of all people...? He doesn't deserve this! He's the destroyer of worlds! He's... He can't create life... He just... He just can't...

"Sweetie? What's wrong? I'm sensing a lot of negativity from you?" Error heard Shattered knock and his SOUL skipped a bit. He's... He's concerned... For him... Why? He doesn't deserve any of this!

"Babycakes, I'm coming in." Shattered warned and Error's eyesockets widened and he quickly looked up just as Shattered then unlocked the door. How- oh wait- shapeshifting. Nevermind.

"Sh-ShAtTeReD..." Error couldn't stop the flow of his tears now when he's in full view of his mate. Shattered couldn't help but state at Error's ecto belly in shock, but the shock soon turned to joy, or what little that shone through under the thick goop of negativity. "You're carrying..." Shattered whispered and Error blinked a bit in surprise at the softness of his goopy mate's voice. He... Does he not... Mind...? "Oh stars... I'm gonna be a father...!" Shattered exclaimed, no, he did not disregard Error's anxiousness, knowing that him being as excited as can be for the baby would make Error feel a bit more at ease.

"YoU... y-YoU'rE nOt MaD...?" Error softly asked before squeaking softly when Shattered carefully picked him up. "No honeyboo! I'm not! This is the happiest day of my life!" Shattered exclaimed with as much excitement as he could and then cuddled Error close, who blinked before shakily smiling and then melting into the hug. Well... If Shattered's happy, then he guesses that it might not be so bad after all.

"How about we celebrate this in bed yeah~?" "Wh- ShAtTeReD nO! pErVeRt!" Error yelled, smacking Shattered lightly, who simply just laughed at that before picking Error up. "Fine fine, but now you're gonna have to eat food! Especially since you're now a beautiful babymama!" "ShAtTeRrEeEeD!" Error yelled, his blush only worsening as Shattered continued to tease him. Okay, he takes it back, he regrets choosing Shattered as his mate.
