Author's Note

Hello everyone!

It's crazy to think I posted this story nearing the end of September 2021 and I've reached over 85K reads so far! I am so appreciative of everyone who has taken the time to read my work and vote or leave comments, it means a great deal to me.

This story of Lyla and Shawn was living in my head the past 4 years or so and I finally sat down and put it into writing.

This story is mature and contains course language as well as sexual scenes and deals with the topic of sexual assault.

I've spent a great deal of time trying to picture who would play each character in my story and I've attached photos below if you choose to have a visual going into the story. If you'd rather make up your own picture of who each character is, then just quickly skip ahead to chapter one!
