Hunter:

I was ready for the battle I didn't to be apart of. 'Richard has ordered the troops to attack the Schaedler's' I thought. The worse part of this battle was that I may end up fighting Eric, my best friend, and it could end up to be to the death. I sighed, the stress was begining to become unbearable. To fight friends for what I didn't believe in, to possibly never see my father or my mate again, and to be betrothed to an alpha mate I don't love. I heard a knock at the door, Richard signalling for me that it was time for battle. We left the castle towards the battle field. The scent of Schaedler pack members guarding the borders reached my sensitive nose. The face we would be fighting them made me sick in both my heart and stomach. My senses twitched, something was wrong. I sniffed the air, everyone in her in the pack could sense it coming from all around. Schaedler's coming towards us to defend their pack territory, Brook's coming to attack my pack. No, wait... The Schaedler's were moving away from us, moving towards the barbarians. From the smell of things the Barbarian's had arrived to attack the Schaedler's, while we were supposed to be attacking the Schaedler's, and the Brook's were coming to attack us. It was going to be one massive, mix up of a battle. I looked towards Richard,

"So now what oh great m-" my voice trailed off.

"Eh, where's Mr. Lakefall?" someone demanded to know. I looked around, he wasn't here! That bastard snuck away! The COWARD! He was near, I just had to find him.

"Hunter, what do we do now?" someone asked. The question caught me off guard.

"We came here to battle!" someone shouted.

"Well then who are we fighting? another asked. 'Take charge, this is your chance. To lead as the alpha you were born to be' I thought.

"We fight, we fight to fend off the barbarians!" I exclaimed. Everyone shouted in agreement, all shifting into wolf form to attack the barbarians which would mean defending the Schaedler's. I moved through the crowd to find Richard. He was a long way from the battle field, and from the top of the rocky barren hill of the Shaedler's pack territory I could see him. Down the rocky, steep hill moving towards a group of human's with three other werewolves. The wind changed directions, and the scent was lost. I couldn't tell who he was bringing to the barbarians. 'They must be the new hostages. I can't let him sell off my pack members' I thought. I ran down the steep hill, jumping from one ledge to another. As I jumped to another ledge, but it easily crumbled beneath me. I scrambled to keep a grip. I was still in human form, thank goodness. I pulled myself back up to the ledge safely. Slowly I continued to ease down, and made my way to Richard. I snarled in furry as I charged towards Richard. The human's stepped back,

"We have a deal, or not?" they demanded to know.

"We do, let me take care of this stray" Richard growled, "Stay back" he ordered the hostages; my mother, my father, and Morgan.

"Richard leave him alone, he's just a boy" Vincent, my father ordered. I shifted into a wolf the same time Richard did. My was quickly slammed into the ground. There was no way I could fight him myself. Vincent knew that, and he lunged into the air to my defence. I struggled to stand, but I couldn't my back popped and cracked as I tried to shift back. It caused immense pain. 'I still have feelings, no broken back, but I won't be fighting for a while' I thought. 'Damn it' I would have to leave the fighting to my father against my uncle.
