Chapter #4: Denny's

Y/N's POV

Fuck. I woke up with bright sunlight in my face.

Bing
I hear from my phone.

Jake: There is a apartment for sale on the top floor if you'd like it. Also, me and my friends are getting breakfast if you'd like to join. Love you sis ❤️

I read the text an decided to go see the apartment for myself. Well today we have big day ahead of us.
I got up and got change quickly. Wearing a brown hoodie with black sweatpants, plus my converse and headed out the door. When I walked out the guest bedroom door, I see Seth in the kitchen.
"Morning Seth, you look like a mess!" I joked.
"That was rude of you to say!" He says running up to me.
"Hey um- maybe tonight we can go hangout around the city for a little bit, you know?" Seth states smiling.
"I would love to actually. That would be amazing! Plus, there is this for sale apartment on the top floor I'm looking forward too." I state
"OH, you know what we can do! We can hangout on top of the roof!" Seth says.
"GOOD IDEA! CYA IN A COUPLE OF HOURS!" I exclaim.
"CYA!"
I head out of his apartment and headed out of his apartment then headed to the top floor.
Can't wait to officially start this new life, with new friends.
When the elevator hit the top floor, I immediately got out and went to the room that was for sale.
"Hey is this the room that's for sale?" I ask the man.
"Yea, you're the first one here actually!"
"Thank you, how much does it cost?"
"Just a thousand!" The man exclaimed.
"Bet, thank you!"
He passed a paper and a clipboard and I signed my name.
"Rent is due next month!" The man says before walking off.
"Thank you!"
That was quick.

I hear from my phone.
It was Seth.

Hey Y/N! It's Seth, did you get the apartment, cause if you did, wanna get breakfast with me?

Sure! I got the apartment, not going in yet cause maybe we can see it together right after breakfast, you know?
I replied.

Awesome, come down when you're ready!

-Off Texts-

I went to the elevator and went down to Seth's apartment.
You know, I can't believe it's December and it's hot here, back in New Jersey, it was never like this.
When I walked to Seth's apartment, I just knock on the door.
He immediately opened it.
"Hey."
"Hey um- you ready?" He asks
"Yep- tag you're it!" I tapping him on the shoudler and running off to the stairs. This is going to be fun.
"YOU LITTLE SHIT!" He yells.
"NEVER!"
As I was running, I hear my brother and his friends coming up the stairs.
"Seth, Jake and his friends are here, ACT NORMAL!" I whisper.
"Gotchu!" Seth whispers.
As we were walking down the steps and just talking, we see my brother and his friends.
"Oh hey Y/N!" Jake waves.
"Hey, watcha y'all doing?" I ask.
"We were getting breakfast!" Colby says.
"Nice! We are getting breakfast right now!" Seth says.
"Oh cool! Cya around guys!"
Sam says.
"Cya!" Both me and Seth say.

-Time Skip-

We continue walking to go get breakfast at a random place, cause I have never been here before. We both see Denny's in the distance.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I ask Seth.
"Absolutely!"
We run the Denny's at the speed of light.
When we made it there we ordered pancakes, muffins, waffles, and bacon.
"So where we eating?" I ask.
"I was thinking eating at my place, BUT how about we eat at your place since we both have never seen it before and you just bought it." Seth suggests.
"Off topic, but I love how we just became magically friends with just out interests and that never really happened to me because people at my school were fucking jerks." I say.
"I'm so sorry that happened to you." He says.
"Oh don't worry, it's public school. Dude, the fights were L E G I T." I say laughing.
"Now that was funny. At my old school, people would just do the most random stuff there. Someone set up a whole hair salon in the bathroom."

We walk back to the apartment building just talking and we walk up the stairs and head to the elevator.
"Hey I just got a text from my brother hold up." I state.
"Yea, same here, it's from your brother."

We both read the text and looked at each other.

What can we possibly can we be getting in to.
