Chapter #19: Loverboy

Y/N's POV

"We have finally made it Los Angeles, California! Enjoy your stay! My name is Jane Lynch signing out!"

We finally made it home. We finally made it out of that hell hole. I don't think I can recover from that ever. Everytime I close my eyes, I can still see Alan laying on the ground lifeless. Sam and Colby got done filming the outro and explained what happened there. Everyone headed to there apartment, and I decided I should head to my apartment and not Seth's.
Let's just hope be doesn't notice the small tears rushing down my face.
"Hey Y/N, are you okay?" He asks behind me.
Shit.
"Um- y-yea, like I said, I need time to recover. We can talk later." I state walking away to the stairwell and walking up to my floor. Dude my eyes are burning like hell right now.
I walked in and everything was organized, all the furniture in its place. I see a sticky note on the counter.

"I didn't want to put stress on you, so I helped ou with the place <33 -Your special Tara."

I smiled at the note. I always looked up to her as a sister ever since Jake started dating her. She was always there for me at my lowest.
I walk to my bedroom and place my stuff down on the floor. I laid down on my bed and I stare at the sunset out my window. The funny thing is, I can climb out my window cause lucky me, I have that weird ass balcony with stairs coming from the walls, it's giving New York City if you know what I mean.

Bing

It was from Seth, I smiled at the message. Oh fucking hell.
He asked if he wanted to go exploring an abandoned train station with him tonight. Seems fun to me. I replied with a yes. If he is going to play some dumb trick on me, I'm going to drop everyone. I know right, trust issues got to me.

Ring

Tara is calling me, seems fun.

"Hey bitch wanna record a video with me am Kat on tomorrow?" Tara asks.
"I would love to!"
"OMG SHE SAID YES KAT!"
"SHE DID YESS!!"
"THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING BESTIE!!" Tara states before hanging up.
That was weird if you ask me.
I decided to take a small nap and listen to music for awhile since I wasn't in the mood to do much but cry. I took off my shoes and threw them on the ground went to Spotify and played my favorite band Surf Curse. I pull my hoodie and smashed my head into the pillow. My eyes begin to go heavey and bam, I was dead ass asleep.

Seth's POV

How should I ask her out? What should I do? I just tell her how I feel and pull her in, NO THAT WOULD BE AWKWARD!! Motherfucker, why am I so stupid!? This would the perfect time to ask her out! I paced back and forth trying to think. It can't be THAT hard, right? Why am I over thinking this?!? What if she does like you? But what if she hates you?! She does like you, you're just over thinking it! No, she hates you with the passion. It felt like I was in a life or death situation. I didn't know what to do but jump onto my bed and stare at the ceiling fan. She doesn't hate you, she just likes you as friend. Thinking that was like a slap in the face. I don't know what to do anymore. Just wait for the moment, that's it! Just wait till the time is right!! I can't believe I'm actually smart for once, I know right surprising. I grab my phone which was right beside and me and just scrolled through Tik Tok. All over my FYP, it was just those edits of the trip. To be honest, they looked sick. There was one edit in particular when I looked at Y/N with a worried a look. It was a little bit too realistic.

After awhile scrolling through Tik Tok and it was dark outside. How the fuck is it already night? You know what, I'm not even going to ask. I decided to call up Y/N and see if they want to go now or later.

"Aye Seth, should we go now or nah?" She asks in a tired tone.
"If you want to, we can go anytime." I state.
"We can probably go now cause I assume it would a long walk." She guessed.
"Yea you're right, we should go now. Where should we meet up?" I ask.
"I don't know, you tell me." She joked.
"We can meet up at my apartment if you'd like?"
"Bet, should I bring anything in particular or-"
"Meh I don't think so, we should be good." I replied.
"Alright just making sure. See ya then!"
"See ya!"

She hung up and I got up from bed. Holy shit I'm tired as hell.
I got changed into grey sweat pants with my favorite hoodie. I put on my converse and grabbed my phone. I head out the door and waited in the living room.

-Time Skip-

I was on my phone scrolling through Instagram. I then heard a knock on the door.
I got up and opened the door. It was Y/N wearing black sweatpants with almost the exact same hoodie and high-top vans.
"Are you kidding me, we are almost wearing the exact same outfit!" I joked.
"Literally, did we secretly plan this?" She says sarcastically.
"Bro maybe!"

We headed out the door and headed to the elevator. For some reason, I felt like I drifted from reality. Everything seemed not real anymore.
"Seth, I have a question."
"What may that question be?"
"Have you ever wanted to tell someone how much they mean to you?" She asks looking down.
"Yea, every single day. There is this one person in particular who I trust with my heart. They mean everything to me." I state hoping she knows I'm talking about her.

We continue to talk about random stuff that has been going on in our lives. When the elevator hit the first floor, we headed out the main lobby doors and began to walk to thr abandoned train station.
"I've always wanted to explore an abandoned train station, but I never got the change too." She states.
"Neither have I, guess will be both experiencing this together." I noted.
She smiled at my statement.

We walked for upon hours and we finally made it. We met with a trail leading into the woods. Upon the trail, we see a huge building ahead. Y/N and I looked at eachother.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" I ask.
"Oh absolutely I am." She replied.
We began to race down the long path with full speed.

"HAHA I'M WINNING!!" I exclaim.
"YOU CHEATER!!"
We made it to th building and we looked up and it was fucking huge.
"I can't wait to explore this with you." I state.
"Sometimes you make me smile, you that right?" Y/N asks.
"See, now you're making me smile you little shit!" I joked.
We climbed into the window and holy shit, the place was bigger inside.

"We should go onto the rooftop!" She exclaims
"Agreed!"
We walked up the flight of the stairs and and saw rusted things that once to be amazing at one point. As I looked around, everything reflected with the shine of the moon. It felt like I was in a vintage horror movie.
Like I said before, everything feels like I'm out of reality. It's that one moment when you just know that you ran away from reality.
It felt so different.

Y/N's POV

We finally made it to the rooftop, sadly it was much colder up here but that doesn't matter. Seth and I walked up near the edge.
"Y/N, can I tell something?" Seth asks.
"Anything."
"I like you, at this point actually- I love you. I trust with all my heart. You actually care for me. Everytime I'm hanging out with you, you make me feel comforted. You make me feel safe and warm. And I know if you hate me but-" He states before I cut him off.
"I don't hate you Seth, I love you too. You we're there for at my lowest point of my life. You saved from me almost being dead meat." I noted.
We both paused. Only the wind was heard blowing. Us leaning in slowly. His soft lips collide with mine. Holding each other as the wind hits us. My arms around his neck and his arms around my waist.
We let go of the kiss.
"I love you so much lovergirl."
"I love you too loverboy."
We laugh at nicknames. We let go of each other.
"So does that mean were-"
"Official?" We both say in sync.
We both got excited and hopped right back into each other's arms.

Best night of my life.
