Chapter #7: Roadtrip

Y/N's POV

I woke up to Seth in my doorway.

"Y/N, its 3:45, we have to go in like 20 minutes or so and meet up at Colby's apartment." He states.
"Gotchu."
He walks out and closes the door.
I get up and walk to my closet.
I grabbed black sweatpants, a brown hoodie, brown converse, and Nike socks cause I think they are so comfortable.

I got changed and went to my spare backpack.
I packed Advil, Tylenol, a water bottle cause I ain't dehydrating, a camera cause I want to take cool photos, and bandaids with a wet cloth cause I don't want anyone getting hurt.
And me being the little kid I am, I grab my Minecraft blanket from my bed and head out the room door.
"Seth! Are you ready!?" I ask.
"Yep! Just packing things for the trip!" He says from the other room.
I wait in the living room and I sit on the couch cause I'm tired as shit right now. I go on my phone and see that Jake sent me something through messages.

It was this stupid image of him.

Last time I saw that image, I was singing my heart out to Backyardigans. I never understood Jake with his stupid memes. To be honest, some of them are hilarious.
"Y/N YOU READY!?" Seth exclaims.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!"
Seth walks into the room.
"Of course you're bring that blanket." Seth states.
"Well- it's my favorite blanket so cry about it." I say sarcastically.
We walk out the door and head to Colby's apartment.
When we walked into the elevator, I got weird stares from many people, including workers.
"I think they are jealous of my Minecraft blanket." I whisper into Seth's ear.
"Just shut up about your Minecraft blanket!" He says laughing.
"Never sadly."

We walk to Colby's apartment and knock on the door.
"Hey what's up yall- Y/N, what goes on your mind sometimes?" Colby asks.
I shrug doing the awkward smile.
We come into the apartment and wait in the living room.

Sam comes down the stairs in his XPLR merch.
"Self promoting I see." Seth says.
I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Shut up, you don't need to know! But- you can get it on XPLRmerch.com." Sam says laughing.
"Are we all ready to head to the bat mobile?!" Colby exclaims.
"YES CAPTAIN!" I say standing saluting.
Seth does the same thing.
"You guys are like kids when a teacher says OnE tWo ThReE eYeS oN mE!" Sam says.
"DUDE YOU'RE RIGHT- you know what, let's just head to the car before Seth and Y/N do something child like again." Colby states and heads out the aparment door.
"Y/N wanna race down to the elevator?" Seth asks whispering in my ear.
Without hesitation, I push pass Sam and Colby who were filming an intro and Seth does the same thing.
"We gotta keep these love birds sane." I hear Sam say sarcastically.
"Yep." Colby replies.

"Y/N GET BACK HERE!" Seth exclaims.
"NEVER!"

I laugh then I get tackled to the ground by Seth.
"YOU CAUGHT ME CRAP!" I say.
Both Sam and Colby come running up to us.
"Everyone meet Y/N and Seth, the 5 year olds." Colby says.

After that we headed to the elevator.
"Seth can I show you meme?" I ask trying not yo laugh.
"Bet."

Me and Seth try so hard to laugh.
"Can you children just quiet down, we are literally in a elevator." Sam says laughing.
"Gotchu." Seth and I say in sync on accident.
Me and Seth make eye contact.
"Did we just say that at the same exact time!?" We go in sync again.
"Yes we did."
We high five.

The elevator hit the lobby floor and we walked out.
At this point, it's 4:35 AM and we headed to Sam's car.
We got in and Seth and I sat in the back together.
"Oh by the way guys, Nate and Josh will meet us the place, they canceled their plans."
"LET'S GO!" Seth and I exclaim.
"Anyways, y'all ready for a road trip!?" Colby says holding the camera.

We head out of the parking lot and start the trip.

My eyes start to get heavey.

"Y/N, you good back there?" Sam asks.
"Yea, I'm just really tired, that's all."
"You can head to bed again if you want, you have your Minecraft blanket anyways." Colby says.
"You make a point."
I grab my headphones from my pockets and plug into my phone and went to Spotify and started to play my playlist. I leaned my head on the car window and my eyes began to close.

Seth's POV

I was listening to music on phone until I heard my name be called.

"So Seth, you catching feelings?" I hear Colby ask.
"No why?"
"Just wondering, seeing the way you look at Y/N makes me think that." Colby states.
I go back to listening to music on my phone.

Bing

I got a message from Colby.

Just tell her how you really feel.

I look up and see Colby smiling.
I shook my head no.

I mean- he does make point, Y/N is just so caring and sweet, also funny. I've never fell for someone this hard for. The time we were on the roof top and a tear came running down, she asked if I was okay. She makes me feel safe. Everytime I see her, I feel comfortable and safe. How am I going to tell her how I really feel?

-Time Skip 2 hours later-

Y/N's POV

I woke up to Seth sleeping on my shoulder.
I didn't want to move to wake him up cause my blanket was on the ground and I was freezing cold as shit. I slowly picked up the blanket and layed it on both me and Seth cause I didn't know if he was cold too.
"How did you know I was cold?" Seth whispers in my ear.
"I guessed."
I got closer to him and he wrapped his arms around me.
I do have feeling for him, I really do.

-Time Skip 1 hour later-

"WE HAVE ARRIVED MY FRIENDS!" Both Colby and Sam scream.
Seth and I burst up.

"Y'all ready for the adventure?" Sam asks.
"I don't even know at this point." Seth state.

That bad gut feeling came back. I don't think this trip will go well at all.
