24~ Where Are Your Pants?

Now that I could rest with Ino-Shika-Cho here to help I didn't know how tired I was. The pain in my shoulder still going strong, and with staying in this forest I am sure the wound is infected now. My eyes grew heavy watching them fight against each other. This seemed to be a reoccurring pattern I have found myself throughout the exam. It was exhausting and I felt unprepared, but I have to stay strong for my friends. They wanted blood they want to hurt Sasuke for some reason, but Sakura and I and our friends won't let that happen.

Snapping myself out of my dizzy spell I see a hand being waved in my face. It's Choji waving a chip in my face. "Huh?" I look around to see myself in bushes.

"Hey you were about to get yourself killed out there." Ino whisper shouts. "It was a drag getting both you and Ino out of there. Sasuke is beating the guy to a pulp. I wouldn't want to be that guy." Looking over the top of the bushes there is the guy with the fur carrying his friend away as the girl follows behind him. I Rush over to Sakura who is still on the ground and I bring her into a tight hug.

"Sakura." I snob as I get chocked on my tears. "You're okay. That was so reckless but brave and smart of you. Are you okay?" I push her away to exam all the newly developed bruises and cuts all over her body.

"I'm okay. I think I'll be okay." She responds back weakly. I pat the top of her head and let my fingers slips through her now cut hair that was uneven. "I'm glad..." I press a hand to the shoulder wound groaning in pain. "Yue!" Sakura yells. I pull my hand away from my shoulder as the pain goes away. "It's okay I'm fine I'm more worried about you though." Sakura shakes her head; she takes my hand pulling it into her hands. "You're hands are cold Yue, you're not okay." This time i shake my head giving her a faint smile. "No really i am okay." My hands didn't feel cold to me.

"Yue think about it. Your own ice needle stabs you in the shoulder and every time you over exert yourself or move that shoulder too much you feel pain. I know it hurts may more than you let on. I seen what those ice needles can do in action. They are able to target an enemy at long range to render them unable to move by spreading the ice once it hits them. It can also be used to cut through anything as well as the enemy which happened to you. I think the ice spread thought out your body making it somewhat unbearable for you when you move around too much. You are only slopping the process down by applying pressure to the wound, but you're also putting ice onto the wound to cool the pain. You feel hot put you are only adding more oil to the fire that's inside." Sakura explains. Though I'm not an expert in the ice style i had only came to the conclusion a while ago that it would be a miracle if i came out of here walking.

Flashback

"Yue!" Like all the times before i had skipped out on practice. The ice style was a style that needed everyday training as it is a complex style much like the byakugan. In order to master, understand and use the style at will with control practice was needed. As a child i was always running off.

"Yue!" Hinding in the closet of my bedroom i flicked the flashlight on and opened my book to read. The door quickly opens and my grandmother quickly pulls me out. "I always know where you are." After that day i knew not hide in the house or she would be able to find me. No matter how many times i was scolded I never listened or improved my training.

Flashback over

"Yue!" I almost fell forward. "You're okay right?" It was Naruto who had latched himself onto my back. "Huh?" I was confused at first and it took me a minute to comprehend what he was saying.

"You idiot get off her!" Sakura who is sitting right in front of me pushed Naruto back causing him to land on the ground with a loud thump. "Sakura it's okay."  I help Naruto up who smiles at me.

"You're okay Naruto. I'm happy you're up now."

"Me. You two look like you been through some stuff." I hear Sakura huff in annoyance. "Well yeah. A lot happen while-"

"What happened to your shoulder?" I look down at the shoulder seeing the hole there created by the needle. Maybe if i had more practice it wouldn't be as bad. Getting hurt by your own ninjutsu. "It's nothing really, but we should get going."

Sasuke and Naruto were catching fish while i helped Sakura fix up her hair. Even though Ino trimmed the uneven parts it still looked messy. "When all this is over lets have a sleep over. It's crazy how time files, but sometimes i wish time would stop and we could live a peaceful life." I comb my fingers through Sakura's hair. "I like the short look and like you said its better for missions."

"Oh, since you feel that way allow me to cut your hair." I jump back in surprise as Sakura holds up her kunai. I hold onto my pigtails on either side of my head. "I'm good. No need to do that. I'll manage."

"I'm joking, but a little cut wouldn't hurt."

"Yue I'm back." I look over my shoulder seeing Naruto coming back. Only he forgot his pants. "Naruto..." i cover my eyes feeling my face heat up. "You forgot your pants. Underwear." I become a stumbling mess as Naruto come closer. "Naruto you idiot!"

"What, what, what did I do now?"

"Naruto, your pants!" I point down to his lower half. He finally looks down seeing that he forgot his pants and had been walking around in his underwear. Did he do it on purpose or was it an accident? How can someone forget their pants?

"My pants! Where did i leave my pants?" Naruto runs off back towards the stream.
