S2. 4 The Hunt

" IM TELLING YOU! There is a demon at my house!"

Inosuke yelled out on the roof top me and tanjiro sat on for the meeting with everyone. I hummed and said

" ok we hear you but inosuke—"

" it's a thing like this! Like this!!"

Me and tanjiro looked to inosuke trying to figure out what he was saying. Tanjiro tried his hardest tho.

" no- yeah that's um... just wait a moment..."

" inosuke we don't understand what that means—"

Inosuke growled and then showed a spider? Butterfly hand gesture?

" ok! Then do you understand this?!"

" no.... No we do not.."

" YOUR'RE JUST DUMB-"

" HEY!"

I started to wrestle him and then growled at him.
Tanjiro looked to us and said

" listen uzui and zenitsu will be here soon for our report so-"

" zenitsu isn't coming."

I stopped and closed my eyes when Uzui showed up. I let go of inosuke and then looked over

" they got him didn't they.."

Uzui kept quiet and then looked down lost in his own world.

" I think I put you guys in real danger. I wanted to help my wives, but that lead me to make some bad decisions. Now zenitsu is missing."

I looked to Uzui worried

" uzui.."

I know he was worried about his wives and he's now seeing how he got this whole team just based off a hasty decision. Mostly out of panic to make sure his wives were ok, the severity of the situation is now realized.

" you three leave the hanamachi. You're not up to this. If there is an upper rank demon here, you can't handle it."

He stood up and I did too

" now wait a moment tengen."

" when someone goes and disappears we must count them as dead.. I'll work alone from now on."

I saw him about to take off and I said

" uzui! Now wait a damn moment! You can't just go off alone!"

He turned to me and looked serious

" there is no shame in this. To survive means victory. Don't squander this opportunity."

I then watched him jump away

" HEY!"

Then he was off. I growled up at the place where he left us and I looked around annoyed

" maybe he doesn't trust us cause we are lower ranks?"

Tanjiro said to inosuke and I then looked to them

" I'm not Leaving zenitsu- nor that flamboyant- idiotic- good for nothing- snow man fucker looking guy! He wants me gone and work alone!? Hell no! I been told to back off my whole time back! FOR GOD KNOW HOW LONG- I fell off a mountain! Just to sit on the side lines again! Not anymore! Get this off me!"
