25. Haganezuka~!

I woke up to someone getting out of my bed.
The curse of being extra aware of your senses is that you notice the smallest changes around you, so in return I'm a light sleeper.
I saw giyuu sit up on the edge of the bed brushing his hair back to make a ponytail.
He often had bed when he woke up.
I smiled at him when his hair brush got caught in a knot.

" here, give it."

I said suddenly sitting up.
He jumped and turned his head to me.

" I didn't wish to wake you, sorry."

I grabbed the brush and helped the knot out.

" you know it's useless to keep me asleep while there's people up, now give me that hair tie."

He handed the hair tie.

" yeah, but I'd thought I'd give it a shot."

I smirked.
He just wanted to sneak out so he wouldn't have to explain last night.

" yeah, sure."

I finished his hair making him look at me so I can fix his bangs.

" I'm serious."

He looked at me dead in the eyes.

"you been working hard with those three.."

" oh you knew?"

He tensed up and avoided my eyes.

" hey, what's up with you huh? Is mommy giyuu jealous that I'm spending more time with the babies?"

He blushed and pushed my hands away from his hair standing up.

" why do you always have to tease, it's not attractive."

He tossed on his haori and leaned down to my forehead planting a kiss.
I smiled at him while he smirk.

" I'm leaving for awhile today... I will return to you later."

" yeah yeah, get going you romantic."

He shook his head and left.
I sighed with a soft smile.
He's a difficult man, but a true gentleman.
I forced myself to get up and get going on with my day.

I happily walked my way to the boys and stopped to look at the meeting spot.
I looked towards a tree and saw Sanemi crouched down.
I tensed up and snarled my lip.
No, no I'm not dealing with him right now! I'm having an wonderful morning!
I tried to sneak past him.

" hey, get over here and help!"

I turned to him.

" what's your pro-"

I saw him Holding a bird.
It must have falling out of the tree.

" shut up and hold your hands out!"

I did what I was told and he placed the bird in my hands.
He took a piece of cloth and started to tie up the birds wing.
When he was down he gave a small smile/smirk and placed it back in the tree.
I watched him jump down and I snickered.

" what.."

He said with a testy attitude.

" oh nothing I'm just shocked you have a heart."

" the hell! What does that mean!"

" it means exactly what it sounds! I'm shocked you actually care for anything."
