"Did you find them!"

Tanjiro said while holding his own from a puppet.

" yeah! That way! I'm picking up a powerful vibe from over there!"

Tanjiro praised inosuke which made him flattered.
I giggled.
Then a puppet attacked inosuke making both of them fall back to where I was standing.

" hey! Lazy ass are you just going to stand there!"

Inosuke said to me mad.
I clenched my fist and yelled.

" did you not hear me! I can't intervene in your guys missions! You need to learn From the experience yourself!"

While me and inosuke were arguing murata came forward and started to attack the puppets.

" you guys leave this to me! Get going!"

I looked at him shocked with everyone else.

" what kind of talk is that mr. pissed-my- pants!?"

Inosuke said confused.

" I never pissed my pants you stupid boar!"

Inosuke tensed up.

" huh!!"

Tanjiro nodded and grabbed inosuke running off.
I took one last glance at murata and followed them.

" eh! Where are we going! He called me a stupid boar! I'm so gonna punch you when I get back!"

I giggled at this and kept up with their speed.
We then all started running towards the demon.

" I'm so gonna punch that guy when I get back.."

"Stop talking like that."

" eh! He called me "a stupid boar," okay, monjiro!"

"It's Tanjiro!"

We ran further up the hill then froze.
We saw a young demon slayer girl look at us with tears in her eyes.

" go away...I'll kill you... send someone with higher rank!"

She looked at me.
Her eyes widened and she freaked out.

" lady (y/n)! Save me! Save me please!!"

I froze up and watched her.
Should I intervene.
Am I allowed too!
I took to long to finish my thoughts, and the girl started to attack Tanjiro.
Her moments were fast and strong.
Just by looking at her her body couldn't keep up with it.
Her arms went behind her causing them to break, mostly to get more flexibility for the demon to swing the sword better. It was a truly disgusting sight.
We heard two more puppets rise up behind us.
We turned around.
I instantly covered my mouth to prevent myself from vomiting.
Their arms were broken in multiple places leaving them like a broken sticks.

" please kill me... my inner organs have been already pierced... I'm going to die either way...please deliver the finishing blow!"

I broke my eyes away from the two to look back towards Tanjiro.
He looked at the guys traumatized.
My instincts kicked in and I jumped in front of Tanjiro blocking him from the sudden attack from the puppet.

" Tanjiro, I know it hard... but you need to focus."

I said side glancing at him.
He nodded snapping out of it.
I used my sword to push the girl off, then I kicked her a few feet away.
I made sure I didn't kick her in any vital areas.
I looked at all the puppets and felt sorrow.
They want me to save them, yet I can't.
Is this a punishment for me? this must be a punishment for me going mia from master..
