{Chaeyoung} - and so it begins again

"Chaeyoung!"

The sound of your voice caused your sweet wife to almost jump out of her skin as she walked through the door.

"You're home!"

"Yeah." She smiled at you before turning around to turn the lock behind her. "I'm surprised you're awake, my love. It's late."

She kicked off her shoes as you got off of the sofa and walked to her, in desperate need of one of her comforting hugs.

"Oh, babe," she whispered as she pulled you into her arms, brushing her hand across your back in circles. "Are you still sick?"

"I'm still not feeling good, yeah." You mumbled as you pulled away from her arms. "I put Sophie to bed a little while ago and decided to lay on the couch and pass the time watching tv until you got home."

Chaeyoung couldn't help but grin over the mention of your sweet three-year-old daughter, Sophie.

But her heart dropped a little after, over hearing you deciding to wait up for her.

"Baby, you should've just gone up to bed."

"I couldn't. I've been thinking a lot today and I needed to wait up for you."

She sensed the nervousness in your voice, only making her feel even more worried about you than she already felt.

"What is it, sweet girl? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah." You smiled and walked to the sofa with her, sitting down on it together. "I just found something out earlier and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it."

"You're scaring me a little, my love." She whispered as she cupped your cheek in her hand. "What's going on?"

You pulled away from her touch to lift up the throw pillow beside you before you grabbed something in your hand before putting it into hers.

"I had so many different ideas of ways that I could tell you this news but I knew it would take longer to tell you and I struggled to keep it to myself since I found out a few hours ago. I couldn't take days more of not telling you," you explained as Chaeyoung stared down at the thing you put in her hands.

Tears filled her eyes as soon as she saw the word 'pregnant' on the test you gave her.

"I have more in the bathroom. They're all positive." You said and Chaeyoung chuckled tearfully before covering her mouth with her other hand, in complete shock over what she was seeing and hearing.

"You're serious? You're pregnant again?" She asked, her heart hammering against her chest as it sank in.

"Yeah." You sniffled and she held her arms open for you before hugging you tightly.

"It feels so surreal!" She said as she kissed the crown of your head. "But it's relieving to know wh you're so sick."

"I know." You giggled. "We've been trying so hard for another baby, Chae. So man doctors visits and tests and it's worked. It finally worked again."

A couple of tears fell down her cheeks and when you lifted your head, her lips were on yours instantly.

"Have you old Sophie?"

"No. I wanted us to tell her together." You explained and Chaeyoung nodded her head before kissing you a few more times.

She put her forehead on yours, her hands falling to your stomach.

"It's happening again." She said, smiling through her tears of joy.

"I'm so excited!"

"Me too!" She grinned and brushed her nose against yours. "I love you so much."

She pulled you in for another hug and you spoke the words back to her as she kept one hand on your stomach as you cried together, talking about how happy you were about your cute little family of three soon becoming four.
