Damian had come home from patrol a little later than expected as the joker decided to rob a bank. Batman and the other bats had stepped in and he had been defeated.

By the time they got home it was 3 in the morning Damian knew there was no point in going to bed now so he went to do his homework, but finding it finished as he had completed it in class.

He grabbed his phone, he found a text from the Marinette girl and one from Jon, he replied to Jon and checked the other message.

Unknown number
Thank you for believing me, it's been a while since someone has.

What she had sent confused him, he read it once more. What did she mean by it had been a while since someone had believed in her.

He was curious to what the real story was and as he was a detective he was going to find out or at least try to.

Damian
What do you mean by it's been a while since someone has believed you?

Damian hit send and grabbed his katana and started to sharpen his katana, while he waited for her reply.

In Paris

It was morning and luckily a Saturday, Marinette woke up to the smell of baked sweets from the bakery. After getting ready for the day, she grabbed her phone on her way downstairs.

Placing her phone on the counter she saw a fresh croissant sitting on a plate with her parents saying that they had gone to drop off some fresh pastries for a customer and after that they would be going to a catering job.

So she was home alone if you didn't count Tikki, Marinette reached into the pantry and grabbed some cookies from the jar and handed them to Tikki.

She took a seat and started eating her croissant while scrolling through her phone. When she came across a text from the unknown number, she really did need to put a name for that contact.

Marinette looked up at Tikki who was nibbling away at the cookies, and then down to the message, they were curious at what she had said, she didn't know what to do.

"Hey Tikki, remember that text I sent yesterday they asked what I meant. What should I tell him?" she asked the kwami.

The kwami thought for a second, "it might be good to get it off your back, plus probably never meet them in person," Tikki said looking at her owner.

Marinette on the other hand didn't look so convinced at what she had said but thought about it, "but he's a complete stranger, Tikki I don't even know their name let alone if there is a girl or boy" she said to the kwami.

"Well why don't you make a deal like play 20 questions or something to get to know them but leave out anything important" Tikki stated grabbing the half eaten cookie from a few minutes ago.
