Question of the day - How do you feel when you wake up with 61 Wattpad notifications? Giddy/irritated/happy/sad/excited?
7 days after Norse war -
Percy Jackson sat at the dining hall, his legs swinging, as he toned out of Ron and Hermione's constant bickering against each other for a dead rat and cat. Ginny leaned her head against Percy's arm while Harry was looking at Percy with a weird look that Percy received often but never understood. Luna was reading some book about mythical creatures like Pegasi.
"Did you know that pegasi are descendent from the Greek Pegasus Arion and Arion was a child of Poseidon?" Luna asked Percy and Ginny suddenly.
Ginny didn't even bother to think about it and replied with a straight 'no'.
"And the horse happens to curse a lot and be my half-brother" Percy said in his head. His thoughts swam to Hazel, Arion's rider.
"Do you know what Arion ate?" Luna asked next.
"Gold?" Luna looked at Percy surprised. Percy simply shrugged it off.
Percy was saved from any more questions as Bianca flew through the window dropping a small letter.
"Thanks Bia" Percy ran his hand through the phoenix's feathers as it nibbled on Percy's lunch left-overs happily.
He opened the note reading it silently.
Buckbeak is being executed. You are required as witness along with Hagrid and me. TT job will be done by Harry and his friends. Come quickly. Bring the others too.
Dumbledore
"Buckbeak's being executed. Quit with the bickering and come. I am needed as witness." Percy told the others.
"No way" Harry declared. The others nodded showing their approvals as well.
"Well then. I will try my best to hold them. Do as you may." The six walked to Hagrid's patch.
"You know right, that only I am allowed? And your invisibility cloak can hold only 3 people?" Percy asked in between the walk.
"Um - Ginny and Luna can hide somewhere while me, Ron and Hermione will come under the cloak." replied Harry. They went according to the plan. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Luna all were behind the bushes as Percy walked into the cabin.
"Mr. Johnson, glad to see you back. We only require a signature of yours." Fudge said. Percy nodded and grabbed the quill. Dumbledore winked at him. Percy understood the plan.
"Full name with all the middle names or only the name?" Percy asked.
Dumbledore replied before Fudge could "Full name with the middle names would be better of course. Unless the minister thinks otherwise."
Fudge simply waved his hands for Percy to continue. Percy started writing SLOWLY.
Peter Paul Perseus Jack Johnson
Yeah, it had his entire name broken into pieces. He took the risk and wrote Perseus too.
Dumbledore even extended the time by accidently dropping the ink bottle. The ink spread too quickly, bringing up the need for another ink bottle, which may or may not be done by Percy. He might have also frozen the ink of another bottle too, making Hagrid search for another bottle.
All in all it took around 3 minutes for Dumbledore to sign the form.
They spent 8 minutes 11 seconds in Hagrid's hut, that included some tea time too. Enough time for their future selves to rescue Buckbeak and free him.
