Areum's POV
(Next day)

"Shit"

I lazily turned off my alarm and went back to sleep-

"Kim Areum" Dad called

I hurriedly stood up and bowed "G-Good morning"

"Why are you going back to sleep? You should get ready and study hard" Dad

"Dad, have you ever seen me study hard?"

"No, but I have seen the results of your hard work" Dad

"Huh?" I yawned

"Your highscores on your exam yesterday. We are so proud of you. Why are you suddenly getting lazy now?" Dad

"Ah! I forgot about that. I thought it was only my dream"

"Right, it doesn't feel real at all. You have never received such score in your whole life. You only receive scores which is not even half of the exam" Dad

My eyes opened and glared at him.

"Do you know that you hust offended me?"

Dad laughed and shrugged his shoulder "So, get ready and study hard. I prepared breakfast for you and Seungmin"

I checked the wall clock and realized something. I if I will eat breakfast here I will arrive there minutes before our first class. No. I have planned something really great.

"I won't be able to eat here. I have to be there an hour before our first class. Can you just pack the breakfast for me?"

Dad nodded and left the room.

I got ready for school and prepared my things to bring today. I took the usb and put in my bag. I have recorded something and transferred it to my usb for something really great. I stayed up all night and planned something. I know it will be worth it and it is something I can be proud of. I have researched and planned right away what to do inorder to successfully do the plan.

After getting ready, I left my room and went to Seungmin's room. I knocked and entered, he is lying down while wearing his uniform. He is just holding his phone like he is just waiting for us to leave.

"Seungmin, what time is the music club will open?"

"We were told to focus on our studies today. We are not allowed to go there until-" Seungmin

"Why?! Who said that?!"

He looked at me "Mr. Ty did"

"How can he just come up with that idea when we just finished our exam?!"

"I came up with that idea" Seungmin

"You?! You are so heartless! How about those who wanted to practice there?! How about those who have problems and wanted to play music instead?! How-"

"Stop overreacting. We have our announcement for every subject today. We are allowed to got here after class" he rolled his eyes

I overreacted. Okay.

"Sorry. I got carried away. Can't I go there before our class starts? It's still early and we can just close it before the classes starts. Please? Tell me who have the keys-"

"I have it" Seungmin

"Can I borrow-"

"No" he said and left the room with his bag on his shoulder

"Ya!!!"

Kim Seungmin! You are being annoying as hell. How can you ruin my plan today? Of all the days, how can you come up with that stupid idea today?! You are so lucky I can't talk back to you! Argh! I swear if I have the chance, I will really punch you in the face until you cry.

I followed him downstairs "Kim Seungmin, just let me borrow it for a few minutes-"

"No" Seungmin said and went to the kitchen

I followed him. He took his own food and left the house. I hurriedly took mine and followed him again outside. As we got in the car, he put his earphones on and closed his eyes.

"Kim Seungmin, you don'tunderstand!"

"Shut up. Your voice is too loud-" Seungmin

I took off his earphone and screamed-

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Seungmin

"You don't really understand"

"Why should I let you borrow the keys?" Seungmin raised his eyebrow

"I have to show Hyunjin something-"

"You came home late because of him" Seungmin

"I found he is the grandson of the old woman I am helping every morning. Besides, we ate together because he helped me study. I got a high score!"

"Areum, he is in art club. Just because we are from one school, that doesn't mean we are in the same team. All the clubs are in a competition to be the best. There are files in the music club room that others can't see" Seungmin explained

"I won't let him see anything there. I just have to show him the song I recorded last night-"

"You don't understand, Areum. I will be so dead if any of the files get leaked to the student from another club. I am happy that you stopped making troubles and finally changing because of Hyunjin but I can't really give you the key. I can let you borrow a small speaker to play the song" Seungmin focused on his phone

How am I supposed to explain? He seems so strict when it comes to the file. Hyunjin doesn't seem to know about the clubs' competition with one another. Besides, why do we care about that? I just wanted to show him the song I recorded last night.

"Seungmin, please... I really needed a loud one. I am begging you"

He sighed "Give me one reason why"

"Because Hyunjin can't hear"
