Jealousy and Accusations

"If you don't want to do it Suryeon-ah, it's okay. We'll find another way."

"I'll do it mom, for us, for the business that dad has built."

"Let's go now!"

"Call me if anything happens ok? Pls take care of yourself my Suryeon."

"I'll be okay mom. Don't worry. I love you."

Suryeon has woken up from another dream. This time she was not scared but she's sad. It's the only time she gets to see her mother again and it's like she doesn't want to wake up.

"Mom, I miss you so much. Why did you leave me like dad?" Suryeon cried in the middle of the night.

It's Monday in Pohang which means no workday for everyone. Halmeoni decided to have this day as their rest day so the restaurant is closed, and staff can do whatever they want. Suryeon, being an introvert, usually spends this day at home doing chores, reading books, and learning new dishes. Logan uses this time to do exercise, clean his jeep and play basketball with the boys. For Sec Hong, this is a report time to Logan's dad about their situation and progress. Meanwhile, Yoonhee and Yoonchul call this their "date day" and Junki sometimes being their third wheel.

As Logan went downstairs and to the kitchen, she saw Suryeon making a cup of coffee. Lost in thoughts, she didn't notice that her cup is already full of water. Logan rushed to Suryeon's side and grab her hand to stop her because the hot water is spilling already, and it might burn her.

"Noona, be careful!"

"Omo! What am I doing?" Suryeon was shocked seeing her cup spilling.

"Gwenchana?" Logan asked her.

"Yes, I'm okay. Maybe I'm just still sleepy" she answered.

"Just sit noona. I'll make you a coffee" he said smiling at her, but she refused. "Anniyo, I'll do it myself"

"No, I insist. Sit here" he gently grabs her by the shoulder and makes her sit. "You haven't asked I'm an expert in making coffee. How'd you like it by the way - black, with creamer?"

Suryeon smiled, touched on how Logan is always there to take care of her. Sometimes, she just wants to accept everything he's doing for her without thinking of anything... if only things aren't complicated as they are.

"Oppa, make me a coffee too" Nina demanded and sit beside Suryeon. "You always make one for me, so I guess you don't need to ask how I'd like my coffee. By the way oppa, you promised we will go jogging together and you'll tour me around the village. Keep your promise. Let's do it today!"

"Did I?" Logan can't seem to remember if he said that but to avoid any drama he just agreed since it's only a few days left and Nina will go back to Seoul. "Arraseo. Ahm, noona would you like to join us?"

Seeing the annoyed face of Nina, Suryeon already knows that the young lady is jealous of her. As a girl, she can feel it in her instinct.

"Anniyo! I have many things to do here" she responded. "And if you'll excuse me, I just have to go to the bathroom"

She just excused herself to avoid any further conflicts that may arise. She's kind of disappointed with herself because she really did try her best to prevent this from happening but still it happened, Nina became jealous of her.

"This is so hard" she thought. "Few more days and everything will be back to normal... hopefully"
