Logan,

I know what I did is very hurtful and it will be hard for you to understand. But I did this to protect you and your family. You're the kindest, gentlest human beings I've ever met in my entire life and you don't deserve chaos just because of someone like me. Thank you for making me experience happiness even for awhile and I'll forever treasure all our memories together. I promise I won't love any other man besides you until the day I die. Suryeon

Logan can't help his tears from falling while reading Suryeon's letter. He still can't believe that she left him all of a sudden. Putting the pieces together, now he understood why Suryeon is acting so strange these past days. He hated himself for being insensitive, not able to figure out what's really happening to her. He tried to call Suryeon but the ringing was just heard on her bedroom because she left her phone. Holding it in his hands, he remembered her password and opened it. Logan saw the number of calls she had received from an unknown number. Then, going to her inbox, he was surprised and angered seeing and reading the creepy messages of Dantae to Suryeon.

"That bastard! I'm going to kill him!" Logan went outside of the room in rage.

"Logan, where are you going?" James asked.

"I'm going to the Joo's" he answered firmly without even looking at his father.

James signaled Sec Hong to stop Logan.

"Hey, what are you doing?! Let go of me!" Logan trying to get away from Mr. Hong's grip.

"Son, calm down and get a hold of yourself" James said.

"How can I calm down dad? Suryeon is out there with the wolves. I can't forgive myself if something bad happens to her"

"She went there?!" Stella shockingly asked.

"Yes, because Dantae threatened her"

"Poor Suryeon unnie. She must've been so scared" Anna cried.

Logan can't say a word realizing the agony that Suryeon have suffered. And now, she's in that place with those evil people. Definitely, she's more than scared but still chose to face her fear just to protect them.

"Why did she go there? What did Dantae say to her?" James continued to ask.

"Same accusation but this time he also used me and our whole family to threaten her"

Shock and confusion were reflected on their faces.

"What? How?"

"Dantae told her that he will involve me in the case and that he will sabotage our business which he is currently doing already. He knows Suryeon doesn't want any of us to get hurt that's why he took advantage of her softness towards us"

"So Suryeon chose to leave and go back to them to protect us" James now understood the situation.

"Yes, that's what she also said in her letter" a tear fell from Logan's eye as he remembered everything Suryeon wrote to him. "But I still can't understand why she chose to suffer alone. We promised each other that we will face everything together... she broke it" he felt betrayed.

Stella went beside Logan and hugged him. "Son, understand her. Surely, she doesn't want to do that. Who would've want to go back to the people who made your life a living hell. But she did that because she loved us, most especially you. He loves you so much that she's willing to sacrifice herself for you"
