"Mom, I told you hindi ko na kailangan ng tutor. I am good at academics naman!" sabi ko habang pababa ng hagdan. I am following my mom who's busy checking her things sa bag niya. Papasok na rin ako sa school.
"No buts, Selena!" pagalit na sabi niya. "Theodore, let's go. We have a meeting with the Stevensons!" umirap ako at padabog na inayos yung gamit ko na nakakalat sa center table kasi natulugan ko na kakaaral kagabi.
Lumipat yung tingin ko kay daddy na nag aayos ng tie niya. "Dad! Pumayag ka dito?" I asked him.
He gave me the look na hindi siya makakakontra kay mommy. He mouthed sorry before leaving the house.
"Selena, this is for your own good." mom said before following dad but before she could leave the house, I asked her.
"Fine, who's my tutor then?" I asked her.
She smiled at me. "Mr. Dracarus Stevensons." she answered before leaving the house.
I was stunned for a few minutes. Come again? Dracarus Stevensons?!
Not even in my dead body that I will let that motherfucking prick to be my tutor!
