"May we listen to the speech of our Summa Cum Laude, Selena Alair F. Wilsons." I smiled when I heard my name, as well as my classmates and other people in our stadium applauded.
Tumayo ako at tumalikod, para tignan sila mom and dad, and of course, my Dragon. I smiled when I saw how proud he is, kahit puno ng palakpak yung buong stadium, nakafocus yung mga tainga ko sa pag palakpak niya.
Before turning my back para umakyat sa stage ay nakita ko siyang nag thumbs up and he did it with a wink. Namumula yung pisngi kong umakyat sa stage.
Inabot sa akin ng master of ceremonies yung mic. "Congrats, once again, Miss Wilsons." ngumiti ako dito saka nagpasalamat.
Humarap ako sa audience, unang pagdapo ng mata ko ay sakaniya bumagsak, he's smiling while watching me, kaya nawala yung kaba ko.
"How time flies? It seems like yesterday, when we were just little kids whining because we don't want to go at school and now, we're graduates..." I started, may mga natawa at ngumingiti lang. "This is the result of our restless days and sleepless nights. Resulta 'to ng mga iniyakan nating projects and assignments." natatawa kong dugtong. "There were times that God tested us so much, to the point that we almost gave up but, I didn't, we didn't. Well this..." sabi ko saka hinawakan yung medal na nakasabit sa leeg ko. "This is not for me alone. This is for my friends..." tumingin ako sa mga kaklase ko. "my parents..." mom is smiling and I can see that dad is stopping himself from tearing up. "for God..." I added. My gaze finally went to him again. "And to the man who always believed in me, no matter how hard the situation is, the man named... Blagden Phyre Dracarus Stevensons." yung mga kaklase ko kinilig, other departments were shocked, especially the girls that have been eye-ing him since the start of the event.
I saw how his face changed, to having a soft smile to a shocked one. Maybe he is not expecting me to tell his name in such speeches like these, but what love can make us do, right? Yes, I love him now.
Agad naman siyang nakabawi and his smile returned again. "Now guys, you know the drill, right?" natawa naman sila. "Let us all stand up and throw our hats in the air, the symbol of our success and the beginning of a new journey!"
Nagsigawan at palakpakan ang lahat nang ibato namin ang mga graduation hats sa ere. Wow, this feels so unreal. I'm so close to the title 'Attorney'.
"Breathtaking." I smiled when I felt his arms wrapped around my stomach from behind. His familiar scent filled my nostrils again and billions of butterflies are ragging up my stomach. His effect on me, damn.
Humarap ako sakaniya, only to see him dashing with the dark red suit. "You look handsome..." sabi ko dito. He smiled before pulling my waist closer to him.
"Is your lipstick kiss-proof?" tanong nito na ipinagtaka ko. "Nevermind. You can always fix it." he said and claimed my lips.
Habol ko ang hininga ko ng pakawalan niya ang mga labi ko. The party that our parents organized will just begin in a few minutes. Napatingin ako sakaniya habang pinupunas na yung gilid ng labi ko, mukhang hindi na makapagpigil at lalapit nanaman yung labi niya kaya tinulak ko na siya palayo.
Umirap ako. "You'll ruin my make up."
He let out a sexy chuckle. "My Alair, I can ruin more than your make up." he said and winked.
